I agree taking 20 secs to get there and get set up would be really hard, If we were spotted at announced as spotted at 27 seconds into the game so he spotted us 24 secs into the game which according to Rommel he could do with his camo net and Binos active (21 seconds). Seriously guys if you still think this is likely then call them out get them to post a replay.

Compare in Tanks GG does show the two fully loaded lights will out spot a Type 62, but their soft ground resistance is much worse than a Type 62

http://tanks.gg/comp...9.-1.-1_0.1.2.9

well, I guess the first thing to address is that knocking a tree over won't trigger 6th sense.  Your vehicle has to fall into their view range, or have one of your "view point checkpoints" be seen by them, even for the briefest moment.  Then 3 seconds later 6th triggers.

D4/5 has a bunch of bushes that can see your square, and coated optics+crew skills and a bit of luck can easily put you down as spotted.  I've been amazed the things I've lit there and been closer than D4 and not get lit.  Sometimes I get lit way before the low ground and can never find who spotted me.

At least when one is down low, it's hard to know from where you've been spotted, however your position only allows one region.  Draw a line from your tank to the middle of D4 and then keep going.  That's the only place he could be and he doesn't need to be in the forward D4 bushes to spot you.

You should touch base with them and ask for their reply.

As it stands, with the screenshots provided and lines of sight, I can rule out any blatant cheatery

Can you get there in 10 seconds?

Invite me to a training room and show me this evening please, I would really like to learn how he did that

what does 10 seconds have to do with anything? you said you was spotted at 27 seconds. your 3 skill BIA type 61 could have easily been outspotted by a STATIONARY T71 with a BIA 4 0r 5 skill crew using binocs. i can get 488 view range on my t71 with  1 skill.

theres 4 or 5 spots he could have spotted all of you from and a couple are no more than 10 seconds from his spawn.

I've never used the tree down/breakage mod but my understanding of it is that it provides the user of a notification on the minimap where the breakage occurs. You seem to be suggesting that knocking the tree over allowed them to spot you via the mod. I don't think it works like that. If it did you would be getting spotted whenever you knocked down buildings in the spawn.

If 6th sense went off they had to have sight of your tank.

*ding ding ding*  Spotting is handled on the server.

This exactly. If your sixth sense went off, you got spotted and lit up on their minimap. You can't get spotted from knocking a tree down, I'm pretty sure all it does is marks where the tree went down and your sixth sense certainly wouldn't go off. They somehow made it into a good spotting location that fast.

I think it's blatantly obvious that you were spotted from the type 64 at ~ D5/C5 (give or take a grid square).

I've rarely witnessed anyone so vigorously defend their right to be wrong.  Assuming they were using the Type 64 to spot with BIA, SA, binocs, camo net, food and NO bush, it would spot your IS from 445m, The VR would be 538 meters for the Type 64.  The VR for your Type 62 with BIA, SA, optics, vents and food is 484. Even without a bush, the Type 64 and the T71 both have better VR than your type 62.

On top of the math not working in your favor, the tree down mod doesn't cause your tank to be spotted. It pings the mini=map of the person using it.  Could the other team have used tree down, sure but your 6th sense would never have gone off.  You were flat out spotted.

By the way, it's not like they needed to spot you since the entire tank playing world knew where you were going with that tank comp.

I think you need to apologize for this [edited]thread.

Even though the use of the destruction minimap mod clearly wasn't the cause of defeat here, it wouldn't surprise me for a second if NEWBI was using it because I know they have in the past (been in their team battles and a tourney or two before). Chinese people kek.

I was just reading through this and wondering how the OP has 82,000 battles and thinks getting spotted in the beginning of a match means they were using illegal mods.   I almost hurt my neck I'm shaking my head so much.

Honestly, I don't think a lot of experienced players really know how spotting works.

Binocs, crew skills, food = mega spotting. I get 954 in my Type 64. At 72 kph I can get in position fast and spot like a Beaver in a free wood pile. Then get blown up like a champion.

^^^ THIS.

Before every match I call, I tell my team, "If you are lit, it is because They can SEE you.  Their scout has LOS (better view range/camo ratio, wich ever way you you understand it...) on you.  They will SHOOT you.  Do NOT argue with it.  GET UNLIT.  Remove their LOS, extend the distance, MOVE.

....ORRRRRRRRRR.... come to the forum and make a qq post!

THIS is MUCH more fun for me when I can't be playing... ROFLMAO

Thank you, thank you, thank you OP!!!!

Now apologize for this (edited) thread!

OK guys 20 Secs into game nobody spotted look at the Mini Map

27 seconds into the game - All THREE of us spotted where do you think they spotted us from?

5 seconds after I knocked a tree down..........

So where did they detect us from?

Note Our player in the Type 62 has a three skill crew including BIA they had Type 64 and a T71 lights

Yeah we were out played, they are definitely better than us I am OK with that, but they were using a cheat mod....

Camo calculator comparison of the Type 62 and Type 64 assuming he has it maxed out

um ur map picture is kinda off where ur tanks were on the map at the time and I think sherby is right in that u guys could've easily been spotted. Also how would a tree mod activate sixth sense? from my knowledge it tells u if a tree got knocked over, it doesn't spot you.
