Hi!

I'm struggling with my positioning when playing tank destroyers. Upon talking to an ''unnamed'' friend, he suggested me to look-up tactical mini-map overlays. They provide the ''best'' location for a campy TD. I would use it as a learning tool, but I am worried this is not legal. I think they are, but I want to make sure. If it is legal, I'll consider using it. If not, I'll stick with the ''vanilla'' game.

Are they legal? If yes, any good suggestions?

Here are two that I found:

I don't see why these would be illegal because neither of those provide an unfair advantage. After a while you should be able to guess where tanks are commonly going to go anyway so having overlays that don't show where the enemy really is; only where they are most likely sitting then I see no issue here. Then again I'm only your standard player and not WG; and you know how finicky they are about whats legal and not

If you can't find them in our mod section of the forums, be wary of them.

Yeh these are 100% legal. Anybody telling you they aren't or that it's even ambiguous is completely wrong. Firstly this type of advantage would never be illegal, it's similar to looking something up on your computer before battle. Secondly if a mod is illegal it is specifically called out. All non-listed mods are legal, until WoT decides to mention them.
