I just started playing WoT about a week ago.  Installed game, created account, played missions, tutorial, starter battles etc with no issues.  Then I started doing random battles and ever since that time, I start up my computer, start WoT and halfway through the first battle, my sound just quits! Exit game and sound is working fine for all other apps and games.  But sound will not work in WoT until I restart my computer.  Launch game, play for 2-3 minutes and sound quits again.  It happens every time.  I have searched, researched and tried everything I can find and cannot resolve this issue.

Anyone else experience this?  I'm running Windows 10 and tried both the standard and beta clients with the same issue.

Help please!!!!

Possibly a driver issue. Have you updated drivers?

Are you pulling up the task manager and shutting down all the crap win10 is running in background?

is your speaker icon turning red when sound dies?

win10 sucks with this game imho.

Funny thing this, I just went thru this (and I run no mods). I checked the client, my drivers, my Logitech keyboard/headphone settings,  Windows 10 settings - all of it. I actually had to reboot my computer and it fixed itself.

Computers have a tendency to either work forever or not at all.  Something what you describe tends to be a resource getting used up problem.  Memory leak.  Inadequate power-supply.  Or a physical break/contact.

We have no idea what hardware or software you're running.  Much like diagnosing why a car won't start, you need to eliminate causes until you pinpoint the problem.  Disabling software that starts up automatically.  Unplugging hardware that's not needed.  Trying sound with different speaker or headset.  When you say other apps play sounds okay are they all using the same sound channels as WOT?  My Dolby 7.1 headset doesn't give me all sounds if the cord isn't in the exact right position.
