o/

Scheduling Elevate to a different time would have made it a lot easier for those of us who are rooting them on to watch them on stream.

Thanks!

And it would of made it impossible for those watching in SEA to watch their last team as well as be an awkward time for EU/RU audience where most are watching from

It's called a live event, and as such location dictates when teams play. Don't like it? GOTO THE EVENT! Can't goto the event? Don't complain about the times. This kinda thing happens all the time with any live event held in different areas of the world other then where you live.

Thank you for reminding me why I don't post things on the internet very often.

Well... it only makes logical sense that the times be wonky for us. The GF is in Moscow, Russia.

Not to confuse anyone with Moscow, Tennessee.

An even bigger problem is the fact that this timing puts NA players at a large disadvantage.  It's has been demonstrated that human beings don't reach top mental sharpness or physical performance until around 3PM their time zone.  Therefore when you're forced to play at 4AM against a team whose body clocks are already 8 hours ahead of yours, you're at a severe disadvantage.

It's doubtful that NA will ever be competitive if they're constantly being forced to play at times where they're at a severe disadvantage.

They where there for a week, (at least), had plenty of time to get over jet lag

Far from a week friendo the way they set up the tournament meant that we played in the groups only two days after arriving. Of course I'm not saying this is the cause of our performance, but like I said, it wasn't a week's time of adjusting, and it definitely wasn't easy making that adjustment.

Sorry, I meant the eLevate DiNG game came after a week, which seems to be the most criticized match.  Yeah, the group stages woulda been brutal

Ahh I understand, and yeah it still wasn't really a week but I agree with the fact that they were given enough time at that point to adjust to the timezone change. After having watched my team play the games for the group stage, I can't say with any confidence that the timezone changes really effected us during the games, but it would be nice to have media and then the group stage to give players flying across the planet a little more time to adjust.
