I know they thought the ranked mm was supposed to fix the screwed hot mess that it has always been, but in the first few battles I have played today since the patch they have been almost exclusively blowouts. The mm is WORSE. 3 out of 4 battles with massive overkill on the winning side, really wot???? I have no idea about why you say you "listen" to the player base but the comments regarding the mm in the test were hardly complimentary and yet you still decided to screw your customers with it. you really need to repair your rectocranial inversion.

 

I have to up[date my post here. It's now 8 out of 9 games that were unmitigated blowouts and losses for my side. I have no idea what the hell you were smoking but you have really screwed the pooch this time. I don't play the game to have a 10% win rate thanks to your mm fantasy.

Wargaming is serious messed up in the head allowing ranked battle rewards available to all tanks/tiers in random battles. Balance out the window, MM altered all to try and push people to play tier 10 to increase income. Horrible, just horrible!

 

I take the time to apologize to all the middle tier players that I and others will go out of our way to club to make this point clear. Then it will be pitchforks and bonfires traveling to WG HQ.

In theory there should be absolutely nothing wrong with the rewards that you get from playing Ranked Battles. Play smart and play well, and you'll get the rewards like everyone else. Literally nothing to be complaining about, especially since they aren't even out yet.

Is there a way to revert the Mission Tab to pre-9.19 setting? 
I seriously do not like the new setup.

except "everyone else" wont be able to earn them either given the setup, they will give a certain # for ranking up sure but only the top people get any at the end of the season.  And then these bonds can be used to purchase better equipment unavailable to most people and USED against these people since while you can only win them at tier 10 you can use them on any tank in any mode.

Please, please reduce the radio static effect from the female voiceovers. The previews sounded great but the ones ingame are barely understandable.

Okay, I have to speak up now. 

 

1 You still haven't allowed a single SPG in a platoon.  So you are still acting prejudiced against SPG players who want to actually play socially.  This is an easy fix. 

 

2 You increased the number of 3 tier battles rather than reduced it.  15, 5-10 were both way better than 3-5-7.  If anything you should have reversed the change you made so that 5-10 splits and single tier battles are MORE common not less common.

 

3 Finally we looked forward to ranked battles for a chance at skill based matchmaking, But now you are telling us that the skill based matchmaking only lasts 7 days at a time and it will probably take half of those days to even start to normalize your skill level with the others playing in ranked battles.  So it isn't really skill based matchmaking just a special game mode to give super-elites more toys to play with. There is no persistent measure of skill in the skill based matchmaking.

Negative, you earn the bonds that are used to buy the equipment. And you can use it on any tank, any tier.

There are a lot of us that have been here for a long time. With that comes the need to keep us interested as we are the whales that any company needs that keep the cash stream coming.

 

This just gives me something to focus on and work to upgrade my fleet, now over 380 tanks. This isn't Rubicon, you're not paying for a bonus, you're playing for it and at the end of the beta might even be some bragging rights. Seems to me that the results will end up falling along Wn8 lines and I'll take as many Bonds as I can manage and work on my more competitive tanks first.

Tiger 131.  Interesting tank.  People said it would be about the same as the Japanese #6 heavy.  WRONG!!!  It is so overpowered it has a cloaking device.  This tank came out in patch 9.19 and it is invisible, so much so no one can find it and WOT can't give an answer as to where it is when asked on various media outlets.  Imagine this tank in battle, when no one can see it.

The same thing could be achieved with cool cosmetic skins like every other game I can think of gives out instead of equipment which gives an advantage to elite players which they don't need. It will only lead to more seal clubbing and discourage the vast majority of the player base. It's a bad idea no matter how you look at it.

Seconded- Its badly ordered, and you have to click more stuff to find out what you need to know, plus some of it is STILL unclear-  like the outnumbered and hot LZ missions make it sound like you need to PLAY germans and get 10 kills, rather than kill 10 germans.   I mean how hard would it have been to just @&@^#^ type "Destroy 10 german vehicles" or "Destroy 30 western allied vehicles while playing a german vehicle"?  Seriously... 

The original version was nice clean and simple and had no room for confusion and needed at most 1 click.  This new thing is.... inefficient...

That means your autolock and your "Keep the turret pointing the way it was while you free-look around button" are the same @&@^@%# button, which is utterly @&@@^%#$ moronic.  And I dont see an option to map free-look back onto the rmb either.  But to be "helpful" theyve added a different key to unlock autotarget instead of just clicking autotarget a second time.  Whoever thought up those changes is a fool.

the new mission UI is among the worst ever conjured up.

 

not at all surprising that a company that does this "good" communicating basic content let alone with PR debacles, dreamed up a such a horrible concept.

I really don't mind the new missions interface but can somebody tell me how you get the personal missions window to come up? I know you can click on it in the battle results screen after you complete a campaign mission but what if you need to look at it otherwise?

Same place its always been, right above your crew, and right below your personal reserves.

the other regular missions interface is as clear as trying to read invisible ink, in a mirror, in the dark, while blind, in a foreign language

​Nope. I always just clicked on Missions and then went to Campaigns before.

From someone who spends too much money on this game and NEVER posts. The game is now broken to the point that I am even thinking of quiting. You made arty better and improved game play for the guys who show how good they are by pushing buttons quickly. Take arty out and stop adding speed. You are turning this game into a game of fast button pushers and not rewarding people that understand the strengths and weaknesses of their gun and armor. You will loose your older tankers that have $ too spend.

WoT do you even read this stuff?

 

MM is so bad. Its great now to match up the tanks. But the players. Even when I'm on the good side. The battle goes to fast. One side over powers the other. This is why I don't have a premium account anymore. I would play about 14 plus hours a week. Now I'm down to 3 hours a week.
