Couldnt agree more, IS-7 is a boss. So much fun to use, especially with its top speed just shy of 60.

A platoon of 3 can cause havoc. Or simply running with the mediums on a flank, it adds an unexpected amount of firepower.

IS-7 magic is and will be. No one who don't have it understands it.

I really question how useful this tank is anymore. Armour is decent but situational, gun is a steaming pile of crap, I'm pretty sure I've never see the top end of the damage scale of this. ROF is really the problem. 12 second reload just doesn't leave it competitive enough, as your armour is only decent if your not facing a heat slinging E-100 or a jpe100.

Your problem is as you describe, the reload at 12 secs that's pretty bad for you mine is down towards the 10sec area which at tier 10 is very effective. I have BIA and sometimes run combat rations if in CW to help all round. What you running Equipment wise. run the Rammer and Gun layer drive and wet ammo rack , I could go Vents to help even. The gun is not crap you have to use the tanks amour and speed to be effective, get that reload down to around ten seconds and use the reload and speed and amour to get your Dmg/Kills.

Great thread and good reading.  I just got my IS-7 and I'm still learning how to drive it well.

for a tier 10 the gun is not that good --lots of tier 9s out there with much better gun --was expecting more from a top tier soviet tank.

armor is good if used correctly

but 1 tier 9 med gets around you you are pretty much dead if he has a clue which is sad for a 10 heavy tank\

ill keep playing cause i bought it had some good games but just leaves me wanting a bit more from tier 10 .

Well the aim time buff is nice...but this tank is GROSSLY UNDER POWERED.

I swear mine is just flat out cursed at this point.

it's a stat padder tank if you spam gold in it, with gold rounds is7 becomes really really good.
