Most of the IS Line is Heavy in Name alone...     T-10 more so than any other in the Line.....       It's likely the Most Medium in the Bunch, but have you considered the IS7 is again just a Medium in Heavy Clothes.....

I'm Almost there myself, but I have been Playing it on the Test Server everytime it comes up...       I'm looking Forward to having it in the Garage soon and I have plans to Keep the T-10 as well....         I'll just need a Crew for it as I have plans to Move the current one Up to the IS7....      I still have my IS and crew, likely get them Trained Up thru my IS2B and 252U like I did the Berlin Crew in my T-10......

Update Time....

The IS7 is in the Garage finally....      The Crew is at Present yet to be Trained, I just pulled them straight over from the T-10 and the Additional Loader from the IS.....       I did Retrain his Repairs to BiA to keep up with the Rest of the Crew though then put Repairs back as his Second, he's just going to Lag behind for a While....

Now, I can either Retrain the Entire Crew for the IS7, Start a New Crew because of the Odd Man Out, or just leave it as is at the Moment and Crew all 3 Tanks, and Lastly Retrain the IS Crew adding a 2nd Loader for the IS7 and leave the T-10 Crew alone....      The Core of the Crew as it sits right now is 4 Skills already and as mentioned before a Berlin Crew, running Vents keeps their Skills Up to a Usable Level and the 2nd Loader is only Behind by 2 Skill Levels.....

Went the usual with Rammer, Stabilizer, and the afore mentioned Vents to keep them Usable at the Moment.....

THEE IS-7 is HORRID when you expose the ammo rack. XD this tank is rarely used anymore due to the OBJ. 705 A's release.

The gun is quite mediocre so u have to get close to targets to hit their weak spots.

I played this tank and I first liked it but it's sloped armor is nothing against HEAT rounds of the Wz 111 5A, imagine the IS-7's armor against the Jp E-100's gun. Spaced side armor rarely catches rounds unless your opponent deliberately aims there.

Overall I think this tank is not fully rounded that the IS-4. Out of all the tanks, the tank I feel most comfortable in is the Jpz E-100. The only good part is the mobility and speed of this tank but this effect is nearly negated by the high ground resistance. DONE

I just obtained the IS-7 after a long hard road!  But, before I jump right into this baby, I was looking for a little advice.

Before I prepare a crew, what do some of you suggest....(here's my dilemma)

I already have a really good IS-3 crew with 3 skills each and half-way on the 4th.

Should I transfer this crew into the new IS-7 to get a head start OR just start from scratch and build an entirely new IS-7 crew?

My gut tells me to start anew and keep the IS-3 alone and complete for additional gaming....

What do you guys think?  Thanks for all of your input!

All the best friends.

I'd say Move the IS3 Crew and start a New one down there, but if you'd rather Play the IS3, leave them Alone....

Either way, 1 Tank will be Lacking while a Crew Trains back Up if not Totally Unplayable until a Crew Catches up.....

I moved my Bromwell Crew from the Cent MkI all the way thru to the AX, I had it and the 4202 to Train thru so they Progressed Quickly while I worked the Line....     When I bought back the 7/1, I moved the Comet Crew there despite them only being a 2 Skill Crew because I really wanted Out if the Comet, otherwise I would have Waited longer.....     They now go thru the 4202 and Bromwell as well to get Back to to Speed...

I did the same thing thru to my IS7 with my IS2B Crew thru that and the 252U, I just haven't Retrained them because of the Shuffling the IS Line just went thru.....       I want to get the 705A and I really want to see what they have Planned for after the T-10....      Since I never Sold my IS, I still have a Crew to finish working on for either the IS7 or the 705A, may even save my T-10 Crew for one of them and out the IS Crew in the IS7...    But for right now I drive it with the T-10 Crew and it seems to work OK overall....

That sounds like great advice to me.  Much thanks!  This is my first Tier 10 tank and I want to make all the right moves.

So, I will end up moving my IS-3 crew into the new IS-7.  Will they perform at 100% ability or is there some sort of penalty?  I hope not as they are a crew of the "IS line" of tanks...would I be correct in thinking like this?

Again, thanks for the feedback...very helpful!

You'll need to Retrain them to the Tank to make the Most of them....

If not, they do take a bit of a Hit, Commander goes to 85% and the Crew falls to their Respective Point from him....       It not a Big Drop, and the IS7 handles it far Better than than the 257 before it does, but it is Noticable.....       So, if you don't feel Comfortable doing this while waiting to see what Arrives for after the T-10, Retrain them.....

Since I still had my IS Intact, I was able to Borrow it's Loader to Complete the IS7 Crew.....      The IS7 requires an extra Body the others didn't so you'll need to account for him as well....

Thank you!

More strong and solid advice!

Yes, I will retrain my IS-3 crew in order to avoid the hit. As I stated before, I want to get the most out of playing this tank right away....I'm so glad I decided to take my time for my first Tier 10.

As for the Loader...I'll do the same and grab that crew member as well to complete the IS-7.

I cannot thank you enough for taking the time out and guiding me along.

I'm not the most experienced player (of course), but I'm trying to play it seriously.

There was a time for us all when we finally got our first Tier 10. A milestone. I feel lucky to have had your feedback and suggestions when I got mine.

All the best!
