This is a very simple mod that removes the 'Crew Incomplete' text and icon from the carousel overlay in garage, as personally I found it too bright and "in your face".

 

This mod may not be compatible with other mods that edit and include text-files under 'text\lc_messages', especially if they edit the file 'menu.mo'. If you have mods installed that do not edit this particular file, but other files under 'text\lc_messages', just copy this file only and overwrite in addition to the 'gui'-folder.

 

If you want to edit 'menu.mo' yourself, in the event that this file is needed for other mods and already there, use a hex-editor and search for 'Crew Incomplete'. You will find three entries, go to the last one you find and edit it in hex and put '20' (hex-number for space) for each of the letters then save. Only the last entry. Or you can use http://tools.konstruktors.com/ to convert.

 

Installation: Unzip in to ...\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\ folder

 

 

Disclaimer: This mod may be used, edited in, for various mod-packs as long as there is a mention. Figured I could make this available on NA as well as EU.

73 battles here, 13.7k battles on EU. People wanted this over there, so I thought maybe some people would like it over here. It's not like people are forced to download mods and this is just a minor garage graphics mod. You don't like mods at all it seems, and that's fair enough. Some do, some don't.

Why in the world do you cry about someone using a garage mod? I enjoy using the Bat Cave Garage and XVM lets you sort tanks by non-elite too and that works great for tank collectors!

Thank You.  I found this to be irritating as well.  

I don't understand why the comments on your mod are so negative.  You do something constructive for free and people find something wrong with it...

 

With your skills, would you consider finding a way to remove the dark overlay on the tanks that don't have crews?

Glad you like it, even it is a minor mod. I tried to find that overlay-file, thought I had it, but it wasn't the right one. Maybe it's in a flash-file, and I've not yet started to look at those. Maybe in the future I will, we'll see.
