Hey, I was just curious. What would you people consider the most reliable places to rent teamspeak servers and the like from?

I would recommend using Discord over teamspeak.  Discord has the bonus of being free.

TS is vulnerable to DDOS attacks while discord is protected against these.

Nothing worse than losing your comms each time you enter CW, etc.

tho we use TS discord is really starting to become a huge competitor to TS and ventrillo, 5D uses discord for it BF1 members as a trial basis, I think it has great sound quality, not as many options as TS but it still new, check it out.

oh yeah did they mention its free.

The biggest flaw with discord is it cant support large communitites. From what ive been told if you have more than 15 or so on it starts to get laggy

I can count on 1 hand in the last 8 months how many times our TS has been down.

I've used discord and I'm really not a fan of it. A good TS server is more secure than a discord server.

looking for a clan that teamspeak isn't mandatory other than CW,toons or teams just kinda fruity to be on teamspeak when soloing ,if the clan needs you there is the clan chat tab to notify anyone that they are needed

All of this is off topic so far. I'm asking what server hosts people consider the best in regards to getting a teamspeak, not whether people think I should be getting one.

We use clanwarz(Chicago) 7th. I pay 11 bucks a month for a 50 slot server. Also it has yet to give us any problems. I am happy with it. https://www.clanwarz...vers/locations/ oh and dont order the music bot. It gave us problems all the time

Why pay for a poop Teamspeak server when you can get a free server for Discord?

The only reasonable way to run a TS server is if you have a dedicated computer that can run a server for free 24/7. There really is no point to pay for someone else to do the job when other applications like Discord can do it for free.

I've been using https://tserverhq.com/ for three years now. If you want to hassle with the software and the bittiching from users the upkeep and cost of running a server, go for it. Does it cost, yes, something for nothing generally means nothing. We use a lot of down and up load of data so I don't mind one the cost and two the reliability of the service. Also, the people on my channel don't mind helping with the bill, that's what friends are for!
