I would like to purchase the best possible Tier VI premium tank that would allow me to:

1) Be very competitive; and

2) Can earn some decent credits.

I see that the Fury is available, but I also see the Type 64, the Skoda and a few others that look interesting. Would welcome any thoughts you might have on the subject.

Thank you.

Cromwell B hands down. Next time it's for sale Buy it. Just do it!

I'm biased towards the Type 64 at Tier 6.  While the Cromwell B is nice....the 64 can mount vert. stabs...and has light tank camo, and it's gun isn't too terrible.

Since Light Rebalance Type 64... Type 64 has always been a contender for top spot, but since it got +/-2 MM, and vert stabs it's hands down the best tier 6 premium tank...

(And yes I own a Crom B as commonly compared against, and it's better than it now by far)

As long as you know how light tanks work, or how the T67 works you can make it work...

I'm surprised they didn't remove it from the shop because now the only thing holding it back from being ungodly OP is 40 round capacity...

type 64 since vert stab buff make it a monster

thunderbolt if you are willing to cut some speed for armor (basically a tier 6 t26E5)

crom b for doing 64 job, but with less gun handling for more durability

there are plenty of good picks at tier 6 but fury isn't one of them (its just a bad E8 with no pref mm)

A few days ago, I had a message to buy the Cromwell B but it wasn't anywhere to be found.

What do y'all think about the Fury?  I'm new, so when I see "100% Crew" as a bonus, I don't know if that matters.

Take the money you would spend on the Fury, look at it closely, and then spend that $30 on a Type 64 and 2500 gold.  With that Gold you can buy a 100% crew and have a tank that's actually good.

Well, it looks like the Type 64 is a good choice for me and I'd like to thank you all for your input.

I'm traveling right now and don't have access to my WOT game. If I remember correctly, you can get the Type 64 for around 3,500 Gold off the tech tree. Is that right? And if so, do they do Premium sales every now and then for tier 6?

Type 64 once you have at least the 1st skills at 100%. Until then it is painfull. With more skills/perks, Recon and Situational Awareness, plus 6th Sense and Full Camo on all the crew it is almost like playing the old Hellcat.  Or so I have been told, I am not there yet.

I like the Dicker Max for a credit making tier 6. It still has the amazing 400m view range. -15 gun depression. Great gun handling and RoF, nice alpha. Camo paint, camo crew and you are almost complete stealth mode td.

For the average or below average player, T-34-85M...  With a Berlin zero skill crew.

Any better players could make multiple tier 6 tanks great.

The su-100y makes good credits if you can get 2 or more hits. I find it pretty fun and do well in it, if you like non-turreted TDs with no camo,.lol

For mediums, the T-34-85 variants are good all-rounders, if you want a little alpha (T-34-85M has best armor), and the M4E3E8 variants if you want fast reload low alpha (good armor on the thunderbolt, but slower).

Type64. Cromwell B is great for competitive play but for Randoms it is overrated. Still good but overrated all the same.

I completely agree with the general consensus here - Type 64 is the shiznit - I generally rock skirmishes in it.

With 100% camo crew and sit awareness/recon - an excellent camo sniper

The real question is what tanks do you enjoy, and play well?

Type 64, Rudy, Cromwell B, Skoda as mediums

Type 64 for lights.

T-34-85M, Thunderbolt, Tiger 131, JP Tiger for heavies or heviums.

SU-100Y or Dicker Max for TDs.

My favorites: Cromwell B and Rudy, followed by T-34-85M and Type 64.  Thunderbolt is also fun, as it's pretty much the Super P of Tier 6.  I've bounced some Tier 8 tanks off the turret before.

Hands down, the Pz IV S.

Oh wait... that's just a  heavily nerfed tier 5 with bonus chicken wire that was bumped up to tier 6 and given extra crappy match making.

So this T-34-85M Marathon started today.  Do I only need to complete each of those daily missions 13 days in a row and I get the tank?  That seems pretty easy if you're a decent player.

Also, is there anyway to keep track of your progress in the Marathon?

Thank you.
