Rescheduled.....well can't afford two trips out there so close together.

For those of us that are still going the weekend it was originally scheduled, want to do an impromtu meet up at the Lexington?

Are tickets printed out before the postponement still valid, or will we need to print new tickets?

Was going on the 30th of sep, had my ticket and everything. Driving down from Dallas.  Now that they rescheduled it to the 4 of Nov I can't go.  Had to get a refund and noticed I shouldn't have paid in the first place being retired Navy,  I can get a ticket for free :) .  The First Saturday in Nov which is the 4th,  is opening day for Deer hunting (rifle), so I will be in East Texas that day for a week or so.  Need my venison fix getting low.   But it did sound like fun, now I hear Meatheads not going to be there due to previous scheduled stuff,:(

Well, I guess it's good that I'm a student who resides in Corpus Christi as this time. The Lexington is only about a 10 minute drive.

Most of you will have already received this message by e-mail but just for reference:

After careful deliberation we have rescheduled the Let’s Battle Tour for November 4th, 2017 aboard the USS Lexington. All tickets that have previously been purchased should now reflect the new date and we have included instructions on how to modify your order if needed below.

We made the decision to postpone this month’s Let’s Battle Tour event, which was originally due to be held on Saturday, September 30th, because so many families were impacted by the damaging floods from Hurricane Harvey, and the safety of our players became our number one priority. To support the relief efforts after the damage left by Hurricane Harvey, we are working with Team Rubicon and the veteran volunteers who are responding to families and individuals in immediate need of assistance to help in funding their disaster response operations. See how you can help below:

  • Donate here to fuel Team Rubicon's disaster relief fund and Wargaming America will match each donation dollar for dollar up to $20,000.

From all of us here at Wargaming, we would like to thank you again for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused, especially to those of you who had already made travel and accommodation plans. Unfortunately, these were circumstances which were beyond our control but we intend to make November 4th bigger and better than before.

We hope to see you there!

- Wargaming

We will be offering some compensation for everyone inconvenienced by this issue (details still being worked out), and if you did end up losing out on a hotel deposit or other nonrefundable travel expense please contact me directly and I will try to get something else done for you.

Any updates on  compensation  yet? Went to the Lexington on the 30th. It was nice and they have added a lot since I went 10+ years ago. There was no signs of damage in and around Corpus, but east you could still see some cleanup in progress from the hurricane. If you are driving down keep an eye out for the different gas prices for cash or credit. There can be a big savings if you pay cash.

I am proud to say, not only have I been a game player for about 6 months: but I and my husband (Admiral_not_so_slim) aka Srgtslim, attended this great event. War Gaming has fantastic games and have great events. If ever close to you it is a must go..Just a BIG THANKS to War Gaming and the support to the Valor project and Veterans.

Been to a couple of the Wargaming Events and this was the best one yet! My friends and I really enjoyed our evening on the USS Lexington and all of us decided that we will be back next year. Thanks for all of the great memories and all of the awesome swag!

Did anyone who won a T-59 get their's? My friend won one but has not gotten it yet.

I won one but have not received it, I opened a ticket and have not gotten a response, crickets...... very disappointed at this juncture because no one has said anything, I certainly did not expect it immediately but surely by now someone would communicate something,  kinda puts a damper on the event overall.
