Please leave any feedback on the changes to the Matchmaking System here.

 

Main changes:

  • Limit of one SPG per platoon
  • Team lists restructured by tank type
  • Vehicle types

Any chance of having more same tier battles and +1/-1 battles and less -2 battles?

I don't mind be bottom tier once in a while but 80% of the time tend to be NOT fun.

make "pref" match making tanks platoon with non pref match maker tanks 1 tier lower

I would like to make a suggestion to you guys from wargaming.

Who cares about 9.19?

Most of my game friends have left the game because of the contact list& chat issue and in case you have not noticed people leaving this game because they cannot socialize!!! 

 

PS. There are hundreds of contact& chat issue complaint threads on this forum and I really wonder why you don’t reply to them as well!

What do you mean by 'vehicle types'?

it needs to go back to the way it was limit the platoons to +1 -1 with no further restrictions

I am pissed that the match making has not changed. I am getting tier 8 matches 90% of the time with my m4a3e2 jumbo. this is handicapping my game play. I think WOT is doing this on purpose. ac cording to the last update the match making is supposed to rotate after 3 matches. this is not happening. I feel that they do not care much about the players in this game. I wish I could be refunded for all the money wasted on this game the last 5 years.

Fix the MM!! As posted above, I play Tier 4, 5, 6,7, and I will be grinding my way to pick up several tier 8's that I have unlocked, but cannot progress as quickly as I'd like because of the amount of silver/xp that is earned, and I feel the grind for tier 9 and 10 is simply not worth the hassle. I am constantly placed at the bottom of the list for a match, and I am sick of being cannon fodder for a higher tier players because I cannot stay in a fight long enough to do damage because if I'm lucky enough to get one, or two shots off before I'm knocked out. If I feel that my tank will not do any damage, or will not play a positive effect to the outcome of the match that I would rather SUICIDE than participate in the match.  Do the developers at Wargaming realize that when they nerfed the HE rounds for ARTY, they also nerfed the HE rounds (M4 Sherman for example) for the other tanks that use them? I would like to see less tier 7 tanks when I play tier 5. The same thing for my Tier 6, and 7 tanks. I understand that getting placed in a match at the bottom happens. I can deal with it, but this is happening way to often. It is getting frustrating. I love the game, but this is getting ridiculous. I am not a super-unicum. I'm just an average player. I play every day. I want my time playing to be an enjoyable experience, and not a frustrating one.

I don't think that is the biggest problem. The biggest problem in my opinion is the template system as a whole. World of Tanks does not have a big enough player base for this system, specifically high tier battles. I have, in the past couple weeks, been kicked out for reaching the maximum que time on at least 20 occasions. This simply needs to stop, its aggravating and down-right boring. Either loosen up the template system or get a bigger player base. Please.

Why, after 10 days is the contact list, chat and ability to platoon still not fixed. I have also had a number of clan members stop playing altogether because of this issue. You seen to keep screwing with things that are not broken until nothing works. Light tanks - accuracy and visual acuity severely decreased.

TD's and arty visual acuity and accuracy severely decreased. Medium tanks accuracy decreased. This completely defeats the function of each type of tank forcing them into close quarters combat with heavies. And why the hell can't arty plqtoon. Matchmaking System:  2 things stand out from this:

First, why aren't heavies and mediums being put into this balance?  It's been on of the common complaints put forth about this since it started.  It should be corrected with this patch.

Second, Do not, I repeat, DO NOT introduce the changes to Team Lists.  Leave them alone.  You guys already screwed up the missions tab, tank stat display in garage as well as the way the store is displayed, oh and lets not forget the craptastic arty aim change that wasn't asked for, leave the Team Lists be, or make it so we can list them how WE want it to be done, not the way You think we want it to be done.

The limit of one SPG per platoon is pure shyt btw, if you're going to tell us how to platoon, just as well make it so we can't bring more than one of any tank type into a platoon.  Having 3 top tier heavies platooned in a city map is far worse than having 3 arty in the same situation.  3 Autoloaders in the same platoon can be quite devastating.  I do not understand how anyone from WG can think this is ok.

MM won't get fixed until you balance the skill levels as well. Since 9.18 the unbalanced skill base has gotten worse as have the lop sided battles.

wthare you qued tier 1? I never wait more than 20 seconds tier 5 thru 10 and lately its near instant.

I love how you can't platoon a tier 7 tank with a tier 8 tank so your buddy is forced to play a tier 7 so you can platoon and it throws you in a tier 9 match with the same tier 8 tank you weren't allowed to platoon with. This makes no sense. We should not be allowed to be in a match with or against tanks we can not platoon with. It is just dumb. If I want to ride my tier 8 gold heavy with my clan mates tier 7 gold td we should be allowed. Or if you are going to force us to be same tier then we should be put in same tier battles. I know I said this twice, but I figure it will have to be said a couple thousand times before someone says hmmm we should take a look at this.

To be honest the HE rounds need nerfed even more for the DERP guns. Since HE wouldn't do much damage to heavy armor and high angled tanks. They do massive damage from Arty because they are hitting from above were the armor is normally soft and not head on.

The skill levels being mismatched more often than not is one of my biggest problems. The red team having a Unicom player plus five or six green players while my team has one green player and a bunch of red skill leveled players and then you get rolled up like an old rug. It gets really old and not it does not get leveled out after a number of games, it just goes on and on and on. As for arty platoons, the main reason I platooned with another arty player is mutual self defense since most teams just ignore red tanks coming our way and you are on your own. Platooning does not make us any more dangerous than we already are. Also I hit a tier 9 tank dead on with my GW Tiger P and it bounced. How in the hell can that large a caliber round not damage or break anything? Taking HEAT rounds away from lower arty leaves us defenseless because our team mates and I say the word very loosely just let the red tanks roll us over. Those HEAT rounds in my M37 have been the difference in me surviving a last stand battle over firing one HE round and then dying because I was done. Fix these skill levels before I and many of us decide that Armored Warfare is a better deal or other combat games. I appreciate you folks asking for responses and for the survey you sent out but since then balancing the tiers without balancing the skill levels within those tiers is a waste of my time and money.

Agreed the problem is WG doens't give a crapabout it and is pushing players away. It's one reason I refuse to spend any more money on this game. My stats were all going up and now bottomed out thanks to near constant crap teams like you mentioned. Can't even get much damage in when you have no support and get slaughtered by a dozen tanks. Hell you are lucky if half the tomatoes even move these days or just suicide.
