How many rounds will be played a night? Or will that depend on how many teams there are in each group? Just trying to get an idea of how long people will be playing into the night.

Since this appears to be the newest version of the clan league, will the matches also be streamed like they were last year? If so, where can I volunteer to be one of the casters again? After all, I'm assuming that's why there's only 14 people to a team instead of 15...:)

~Sheller3, ex-Clan League caster

It is likely that the Playoffs will be streamed. Due to how round robins are set up, it's unlikely that the weekly tournaments can be streamed.

Will we have to submit them every night after battles to that email listed like in Clan League or only if WG requests them?

Only if requested. However, it's strongly advised to have them available if requested.

I have the Chieftain/T95, IS-5 and T23E3 in my garage, do I just get gold for one of them if I win?

Yes.

Hey Dance,

What I'm wondering and hopefully I get a response...

Is that if this is basically just an extended (or series of) Clan Exhibition Tournaments which are normally registered as 16 + 84 why is this now changed to a 30man roster? And on top of that we need to resign and resubmit the 30man roster each week for 5 weeks? With the 16 + 84 there is far less micro managing to do for each clan that participates, even if we have to submit 5 times.

And if the concern is that the Playoff Prizing would pay out too many individuals per clan, simply change the rules (plenty of time left) to include a minimum battle requirement to qualify for Tank Prize payouts (Top 3 Playoff winners).

It's based on a similar format to the Clan Exhibition; however it is not the same as a Clan Exhibition. The team restrictions are more similar to the Call to Arm tournaments - smaller teams represent the entire Clan.

Having a new registration for each tournament allows Clans to determine which one(s) they wish to participate in. If there was only one registration, Clans would need to commit to 2+ months.

Can you define "each player on the final clan roster" for the awards? As in final roster of 30 or final roster of 100?

The playoff prizes are for everyone in the Clan. Think of the 30-player team as representing the 100-player Clan.

Groups will have a maximum of 6 teams.

The irony in this statement is that ranked battles literally rewards you not for being good but for playing hours upon hours of ranked.

So that's why only the 58% and higher win rates, and blue and purple players are winning there because they aren't good they just play a lot, Okay......

Is this Clan cup in place instead of a summer campaign?

There's quite a significant portion of players on the middle end of the spectrum that are doing perfectly fine leaderboard wise.

Reading is hard i guess.

Registration Rules

  • All players must be from the same clan.
  • A team must have at least 14 players signed up. A team can have no more than 30 players.
  • Only one team is allowed per clan.
  • If more than one team is submitted per clan, the team that participates will be determined by
    1. Rank of the team captain (highest rank has priority)
    2. If both have the same rank, date the tea captain was accepted to the clan (oldest has priority)

I saw a 42 WN8 player with a sub 44% win rate in rank 3 last week.  Obviously skill is not required to move up the ranks.

Sweet more cool stuff for the top Clans . Just what all the Unicom's need more crapto crush the scrubs with . As if ranked battles wont give them even more stuff to crush us scrubs with good job War gaming . You keep giving all the perks to the top players hey they are good and should win goodies , but you forget the regular guys all to often . How about some type of victory point system{ Top players would still get more points } where for X number of points you get a shot at something cool like a tank or something anything accept a fooking sticker that does nothing for 6 months of clan battles . I spend a lot of money on this game top players don't have to they get pay outs from CW and or always do well in tournaments . Most of the guys in my clan have spent enormous amounts of cash buying premium vehicles and to me it feels like WoT just over looks us .  Anyway I'm sure Ill get a bunch of negative comments to you all I say ... whatever .

You sound like one of the snowflake generation's special snowflakes who think everyone is special and everyone should get a big reward just for trying.  I'm not saying you are, but that's what your comment sounds like.

This is a competitive game and players who do the best in competitions should get rewards.  That's how it works in other competitive games and in real life.  Should the Cleveland Browns get a Super Bowl ring for their 1-15-0 season?  No.  Should the Houston Dynamo or Chicago Fire get the MLS cup for their awful 2016 season results?  No.  Should high school basketball players be paid the same as the top NBA players?  No.  Should World of Tanks  players and clans who are about average get the same rewards as the top players and clans? No.  Its that simple.

You already get rewards in the game for completing daily and weekly and monthly missions just by playing the game.  With the number of below average players I've seen make it to rank 3 in ranked battles, I'm sure you can get some bonds also.

If you (or anyone else) want to improve in the game and get into a more competitive clan, and win more in game events and prizes there are plenty of resources out there on YouTube, Twitch streamers, and Wotlabs.

To be honest, the amount of time put into clan wars, clan wars campaigns, and tournaments is quite high.  Many players would get more gold or premium tanks by putting less time into a 2nd job or working a little overtime or selling unused items on craigslist or eBay.

With all that said, I wonder if the Maus will be nerfed by the end of the clan cup or after the clan cup ends?  What if there was a rule limiting the number of Maus per team?
