hello,

 

untill i got bitdefender internet security 2017 - with license, the game was ok.

now it keeps minimizing my game window - it does not block the game or the launcher

tried to include all exceptions, in app and firewall, got a ticket to developers fo bidtefender

 

any other suggestions if you encountered a similar situation ?

already excluded launcher and wot.exe from scanning

All you need is Windows defender for anti virus nothing fancy

It is BitDefender's poorly written anti-malware app that is minimizing the game window. In Settings, set the game to run in full-screen mode and add but executable files to BitDefender's exclusion file. Also, WG's web site signature was allowed to expire in 2014 and the decision was made NOT to renew it. It is interesting to note that Kaspersky Internet Security (also a Russian company) codes WG as a malicious website because of some of the pop up ad hooks. That doesn't mean it is, just that it is interesting.

I've had a minimize problem since the last major patch.  I'll start WoT.  It'll go to logon.  I'll logon and then it'll minimize itself.

It's very odd.

I don't have Bitdefender, but we have similar issues.

found some solution: reset game grapihcs: when game launcher goes, check the arrow and select reset game graphic. so far it is ok, but playus in windowed mode - a small window on top of the game

The big Win10 update on 5/15 dorked up a bunch of stuff including Teamspeak. WOT will CTD if I'm using the push to talk key while a battle ends. I had to switch WOT to windowed borderless mode to make it work as well, that maybe because I use two displays, but it wasn't necessary before the Windows update
