1. M4 Rev

2. FV 4202

3. Panther 8.8

4. STA-2

I assume you're interested in take-home income and not gross income.  Either way, M4 Rev is top of your list in $$$.

I have all of them but the STA-2 and for me it's the Rev. I like the Lorr. 40t even better. It is my go to tank when I need credits

I only have the STA-2 out of those (although I've played most of them). The STA-2 is a definite performer, at least for me. Good mobility, good gun depression, good gun performance, good dpm, armor that won't be penned by HE (unlike the CDC) make it an excellent tank. It also pulls in the credits like almost no other premium I own. I can easily make ~500k in 1-2 hours of play.

M4 Rev: Probably the best option for a Tier 8 medium at the moment. Punchy gun with decent gun handling & mobility, along with great gun depression makes it a consistent damage farmer. The only problem is the lackluster penetration on the shells, but the gun handling makes up for it usually.

STA-2: A decent package for a medium tank, but doesn't really stand out in any way. It's a bit faster than the M4 Rev, with equally bad armor, has the same 10 degrees of gun depression, but only has a 90mm gun. The penetration on this 90mm is pretty standard at 212 with AP rounds, but the HEAT is what makes it special - 275mm of penetration is competitive even against Tier 10 tanks. The only issue here, is that the one special feature of the tank, the HEAT shells, is going to hurt your profitability; so it's not the greatest Premium tank.

FV4202: The FV4202 has the best armor and the best penetration out of the 4 tanks you've listed. The armor is far from great, but it can definitely pull off quite a few funky bounces regardless. The very high penetration standard AP shells make it one of the better 90mm's to farm damage with, but the tank is on the slow side; which means even if you can do more damage with its 90mm, you won't be getting as much spotting. Profitability is decent, although it's not really that great either.

Panther 8,8cm: The Panther 88 has the best DPM in this comparison, and has very good base accuracy as well. Decent mobility and having some armor on top of that, makes it a pretty promising package. The two issues of the tank however, are the limited penetration and the very large profile. It's an easy target to hit, and it doesn't have the penetration to be competitive in Tier 9 and especially Tier 10 battles. That being said, if you can put the DPM & accuracy to work, you can easily rack up a lot of damage - Just not consistently across battles.

Without really knowing what I was getting, but wanting something different, I traded another premium for the M4 Rev and don't regret it at all.

It has become my best earner but my favorite part is it's just plain fun to play.

I also have the FV4202 and have no complaints but for sheer fun, I prefer the M4 Rev.

Same here, taking 400+ hp dumps on tier tens makes me giggle.

Only have the 4202 from your List and I like it alot....

Makes Good Credits since the Earnings Buff a while back and the 20lb B Barrel Out Pen's at 226 what my 252U does at 225 by alot and is quite Accurate....     Armor will definitely Surprise you on occasion even though it is still Wet Toilet Paper and the Speed Buff is nice.....     Ammo is Cheap and the Replacement/Repair Cost is pretty low making this one of ny Go To Tanks when I want to make a few Credits....

It's also one of my Better Tanks overall, even better than my Centurion which this was the Trainer for....       Have over 600 Games in it so far which really surprised me since it didn't feel like it....     Used my Bromwell Crew for the BiA and went Full Repair after they hit their Official 2nd Skill....     It's been a Blast to Drive....

While I like the Rev, I like the STA 2 much better and I have both of them.
