so with Jingles latest video. he basically insults the 59-16.
and i don't blame him. WG murdered it.
before the rework took away the gun that made it famous. that 76mm autoloader would eat teams alive with fast burst and fast reload.
low pen sure. but fine something to pen and its going to die.
so heres a video toast. to the gun that made 59-16 so good. before WG murdered it

i'd hope disney would be noticing that fans not happy
i mean they've been looking the other way as kathleen kenedy and crew attack the fans over and over.
and not just them. looks like Captain Marvel is finally beign admitted to being a failed, unlikable character. they apparently needed spiderman in order to try to make fans like her.
honestly, it really is sad to see Disney fall so far into the Mary Sue character trope. from Mary Rei Sue to Mary Marvel Sue.
kinda makes me wish i could force them to watch Diamond in the Rough to show how to turn a Gary/Mary Sue into an actual likable character. as the writers for these characters are to far in the mindset of "no one likes when the hero loses". don't think they understand why people liked Iron man so much, he was flawed, seeking redemption, and ultimately sacrificed himself. ultimately, he lost, over and over throughout the story. but he stood back up and continued.

and its not just characters being OP and never failing(ffs luke lost over and over, but we LOVE HIM. still waiting for Rei to have ONE BELIEVABLE MOMENT).
its also, as SynfulSun said, the marvel formula. it DOES NOT WORK FOR STAR WARS.
the most hated characters in star wars, before hte disney reboot, were jar jar, and c3p0(surprised?). why? these are comedic relief characters. and they didn't fit in with the serious adventure tone star wars takes. its not a humorous franchise.
any humor it does have comes naturally (Obi-wan saying "flying is for droid", or, and yes i'm pointing out Rouge one Here, the droid in that's quips fit. it might be due to HK-47 setting the stage, but a slightly genocidal robot fits. and for Rouge One K2SO's lines never broke the immersion.
meanwhile Last Jedi.....the joking at the start, did not feel like star wars. it felt like space balls. and thats not a good thing for a series like Star Wars. and the mind meld shirtless scene....what are we on a tv comedy drama now?
