Hello everyone, I just started playing WoT again on PC after playing many hours on console months ago. In all of my games so far, both in WoT and WoWS I've been having lag that makes the game unplayable. My PC should be more than capable of handling the game, and I tried switching some in game settings around as well as switching to the standard definition client. As far as I can tell, it seems to be spikes of ping, but this also seems weird as it's in every match I play and my internet is capable of playing other online games with absolutely no problems. Are there any settings I should screw around with in-game or am I going to have to drop playing wargaming titles for a while?

The problems are on the east server only, switch to west and you should be fine.

um, negative.

Im going through the process of doing a ticket with a ping plotter report, AGAIN, but doubt it will help.

West still has rubber banding, freezing etc. So bad I cant even get my reticule to stay in one place while aiming (stationary).

It is "intermittent", was really impossible for about three hours yesterday(tank un driveable bad), then went back to being just bad with stuttering and random spikes.

TBH it did get a little better after I updated a graphics driver ,cleared cache and restarted, but that may have been just the random nature of it, its only been a couple of weeks since I did all that anyway.

I haven't played again since last night, sorry, but im another one of many that's had enough. I only get two days a week that I can play, if I spend that time putting in reports its just not worth it. Looking back through my previous tickets last night this is number 4 about the same issue in the last 4(?) months.

No Joy, still all my fault, or my mods(don't use any at all) or my ISP.

Funny I can play other games though.........

It is not East server only; although the lag is admittedly not as bad on the West server.

Well, glad to hear I'm not the only one, gives me hope WG will implement a fix soon and that it's not just something off about my setup.

I've been playing on west. I played a few on the eastern server and those seem to be just as bad, so no luck with either. Oh well.

It's been happening for years off and on. WG has no clue how to fix it, and I think they don't really care.

I used to play starcraft on the battlenet and that game was coded so that if any players had lag and/or a slow computer, it would lag and stutter for all 8 players in a match. So the best performance you could achieve was the same as the worst computer/isp connection in that match. I don't think WOT is set up to work like that and with 30 players/match, the game would basically be unplayable, but they may have something to help players with poor connections and/or computers to compete? This could cause some lag in battles if there are too many players with bad internet/computer?

Try moving your router and modem closer to your PC.  I did this and it fixed the problem.  Chances are you have an older client card (receiver).
