Just want to do a currency update of the best tier 2 and 3 seal clubbing weapons.

Silver or gold purchased vehicles included.

Thanks.

The platooning pro-clubbers seem to be running Pz38ts at present.

With the new MM, tier 3 has become a popular clubbing ground, with tier 5 now not as attractive.

It would depend of you playstyle, Cruiser II will nuke anything on sight (Including the infortunate episode of running into a Pz II J).

T-127 is good all around and its armor will bounce most tier 2-3 guns.

French tanks such as H35/AMX 38 also offer the armor advantage over those Pz I C/M2 Light subhumans, so you don't have to worry about other seal clubbers.

Now that tier 3s no longer see tier 5s T-46 is a good idea with that 200 damage 4s reload autoloader.

I keep hearing about MM at tier 3 no longer extending to tier 5, would you mind providing links on this matter, such as official patchnotes, Q&A notes, etc... Because if so, I may have some ideas to hatch...

I play tier 3s and 5s fairly often, I usually make three man Locust platoons, I never run into tier 5s since 9.18 went live.

My T-46 doesn't see tier 5s anymore either.

On the other hand, my tier 5s get bottom tier most of the time, sometimes I see tier 4s, but never 3s.

That's why tanks like AT 2 became worthless trash after it.

I don't have official word but 40-50 games in my Locust and Pz T-15 and I haven't seen a tier 5 since 9.18.  Both are way better offense scouts but without tier 5 HP pools the scouting is way less profitable.

Seemed to sneak in unannounced with the big MM re-jig. I still occasionally play a game in tier 3, and I have never seen a tier 5 game since the upgrade. Means an indirect nerf to t-127, as all other tier 3s now have a better gun and get same MM as it. Still has nice troll armor I guess.

I agree to an extent. There are clans dedicated to playing low tier stuff in 3 man platoons, that are pulling 70-80% win rates. This is the true cancer.

If I wish to do some crew training, or start a new line - then I have to face these pro-clubbers like everyone else down at tier 3 or 4.

Maybe restrict platooning to tier 5 upwards, or limit them to 2 men per platoon.

At Tier 2, the Pz. II, H35, and the M2 Light are the best.

For Tier 3, the Cruiser IV is the undisputed champion.

I wouldn't call it a nerf as 127 is quite competitive against tier 3s and most tier 4s, it also has good accuracy in the move to charge towards weak tier 3s.

Without a doubt. The T-127 has always been OP & still is. It's just that more tanks have caught up to it now.

Now it's pref MM is worthless, as every tier 3 gets the same.

Just means more options for seal clubbers at tier 3, as they no longer fear having to battle KVs and ATs that they could never pen.

Some tier 3 tanks have much more pen than T-127, so their life has suddenly got a lot easier.

Something I hated about the MMO I played before wot was that EVERYONE played the same weapons with the same configurations and the same playstyles, it was like playing against bots, so I'm up for everything that increases variety, even at seal clubbing. :P

Fixed that for you... I found many Cruiser IV's in the last 1v1 tourny I did... 94mm HE does wonders with one shot, 1st overall with a 75% crew...

It all depends on the driver, but the Cruiser II is basically idiot proof point and click...

For me it's always seemed that every time I play in tier 2/3 it's Pz. 1C's that are by far the most prevalent seal clubbers, usually only firing premium rounds as well which is hilarious since the majority of what they'll face are easily pennable with standard rounds and some things they have problems with are still not pennable with gold. As mentioned the 127 is solid, if it doesn't see tier 5 now then it's even better, almost like a low tier heavy with decent speed though it's gun is kind of meh though you won't need so much gold like before. While it's real slow I had some nutso games in my R35 when I was thinking of going up the French light line. It was so ridiculous I felt guilty playing it but it was also when the Swedes got added and I was literally playing against teams that had 10 or more L-60's which had no chance at all in penning the R35's armour. I had one game on Himmelsdorf where I just drove straight to their cap and just sat there taking no damage until an M2 came down off the hill and unloaded some gold into me with the 20mm and penned me once. The M2 is also a good one although I much preferred the 37mm over the 20mm.

94mm HEAT pen btw.

I'm going to have to disagree with you. The Cruiser II is only good up close like in 1vs1 tourneys on Mittengard or close range city maps. It is not idiot proof as you think it is. The gun handling is terrible but expected for a howitzer cannon with a turret and did I mention the reload is super long?

The Cruiser IV outperforms it in many ways. It has the best autoloader clip in its tier, it's got decent mobility and the reload is short. It can shred any opponent it faces. Unfortunately, a good Pz Ic driver can easily counter both of these tanks.

In the case of 1vs1s it comes down to player skill and knowing when to keep distance.
