I keep hearing about MM at tier 3 no longer extending to tier 5, would you mind providing links on this matter, such as official patchnotes, Q&A notes, etc... Because if so, I may have some ideas to hatch...

Doesn't really matter what tank, all you need is a veteran crew and the associated upgrades to the tank and you're good.

Low tiers are populated by people who are new, people who want to get out of it as quickly as possible and clubbers.  Everyone put the clubbers either can afford or doesn't want to waste the credits to trick out a low tier tank, so that is primary differentiator in low tiers.

Derp guns and automatics don't hurt either.

Whent Back to tier 3 to play the old turds (type 91, amx 38, ue57, Valentine At), they won't destroy matchs but they are fun  tanks now. Well except amx 38, That thing Is still beyond terrible

I play tier 3s and 5s fairly often, I usually make three man Locust platoons, I never run into tier 5s since 9.18 went live.

My T-46 doesn't see tier 5s anymore either.

On the other hand, my tier 5s get bottom tier most of the time, sometimes I see tier 4s, but never 3s.

That's why tanks like AT 2 became worthless trash after it.

Seriously, they have messed up my beloved AT 2 ? I have not played it in very long time.  But, now its not worth a 2 toots now? :(

although I do not like low tiers at all I have to warn you, seal clubbing is not as easy as it sounds, you have to be good consistently, do not underestimate it, and I hate the fast and chaotic play style at low tiers, if you are getting used to mid and higher tiers also like me I suspect you will feel the same.

Why are players with thousands of battles playing tier 2 or 3?

Exactly.  I felt dirty running an M2light with vents and optics, getting a scout medal every single game on mittengard.

Yea, I played a truck load of battles in the UE57, and I really loved playing the FT AC Tier 2  TD...  I could really do O.K. in the FT AC... Just liked playing it..

I agree with the tanks everyone above has mentioned as a list of one's you can do well in.   I also, like running the LTP occasionally.

PS. Edit*  Almost forgot my favorite Pz II G  810 battles.

UE 57 386 battles.

FT AC 281 battles.

I feel like the M3 stuart is a solid tank. Its got great handling. I have played tons of games in it, and its power to weight ratio is outstanding. Gun is ok, but you cannot have it all.

I should advise you to drive the tier 2s I need for that "kill them all" badge, and the ask you when you play.... Heh

I've taken to occasionally running through a handful of low tier tanks to try to pick up those few kills, playing 1-3 battles in about 4 or 5 different lower tier tanks.  But I think I need a new tier 1 as well.

I do have a few of those to pick up but often they are the tanks that no one likes to play so you would have to play a lot of low tier battles to picke them up.

E-Peen and I guess to pad stats... They like to bully the newbies to feel good about themselves... Rather sad really!!

Take the OP, he is looking for a tank that will ONLY be used to seal club... not because he enjoys a particular tank...

why pad in low tiers, wn8 goes up considerably slower if you only play low tiers and it's only good for wr, but is is fun? I personally do not like low tiers although I would do a lot better in them.. Yuk I hate it, it's frustrating and to fast and just no fun.

  No, isn't so.

I was the last one alive in my Hetzer against an AT2. Found out I couldn't pen him with gold from the side. He solo carried.
