Speaking of premium tank sales... anyone know what the specials will be in August yet ?

I need a couple of crew trainers.

If you just need crew trainers, you can win some gold in tournaments https://worldoftanks...en/tournaments/

and then buy premium tanks in the game client for the gold.

It does not make sense to give real money to such a company as WG.

"World of Tanks is a massively multiplayer online game developed by the Belarusian-Cypriot[5] company Wargaming, featuring early to mid-20th century era combat vehicles.[6] It is built upon a freemium business model where the game is free-to-play"

As with any company the rot sets in and without leadership and a clear direction it will flounder on the rocks of success. Sure looks as though it is steaming for a crash....just sayn.

I understand why people buy prems. I have a couple myself.

I don't have time to play in a clan, learn clan tictacs, be at practices/games, etc. My life/career/etc. are just too damn busy for all of that, as much as I would enjoy it, so earning 12k gold in game isn't really an option for me.

Waiting 1.8 years for the 200g bonuses/special events/etc is not really my jam.

I bought a couple prem tanks to trade time for money. I have money, but time is at a premium, in my life.

Prem tanks are a good balance for me. They speed up my crew training, but not so fast that I don't learn anything.

That allows me to play more and grind less.

YMMV.

It is free-to-play... but I enjoy it more when I spend a little cash for some things that make me progress a little faster.

It's a cheap hobby and I can easily afford it.  My house and cars are paid for, etc.

Is free to play. You dont have to buy anything to play. Plenty of Welfare Warriors in the game.

Do you expect someone to invest millions in development and marketing then not expect them to have a return on the money simply to provide entertainment for the sorry [edited]in this game to cheap to pay or to lazy to work and buy things?
