There are already too many TD's in the game as it is and you bring in another whole line? I just finished a game that had more TD's than tanks in it. This is getting more and more common. Everyone wants the big bad one shot tank. Well it's ruining the game. No wonder more and more of the long time players are leaving. I know there is this constant pressure for new content but this is not a good direction. Limit TD's to 3 or less per game!

Well like with Ranked Battles they will I imagine try it first with tier 10's and Maybe ™ Knock it down to tier 8's but that could be hopeful thinking!

Read the ranked updates, and while I see a few good things (more maps, fewer arty, better MM balance), I see that the potential loss of ranks two through four still exists, and is worse now since both chevrons and ranks are harder to get.

 

I also see that the uniqueness of being able to "win" in a loss by earning chevrons for good performances is gone. Despite that, I suspect we'll still see the camping meta via loss avoidance behaviors, and it might even be worse, since chevrons will be harder to get and thus represent more to lose. (We could also see griefers who just throw the battle to ruin their team's chances of earning chevrons, which also makes for easier rigging, if anyone were inclined to try.)

 

Screw that. :P Chevrons should be about individual player performance, and not anyone else's. I finished the beta season, and I'm glad I did, but it was excruciating. I'm not doing that again. The only way I'd try under the new rules is if all ranks were locked in once you got them.

 

So, right now, I'm just planning to get the easy bonds for the first ranks, and stay below the minimum rank points required to make league, so that the leagues will be as small as possible.

Just finished playing a few games in the Foch 50 and I like it but one criticism.  When you reload mid clip it still shows a full reload time, so for instance if I fire 3 shells and decided  to reload it still shows the full 34 sec reload.  No beuno.  There should only be half the reload time to load 3 shells not a full reload.  Just my opinion.

amaizing update, ranked battles will finally no longer be 2 steps forwards and one step back and will take a higher WR in order to get to rank 5

What?? Lol, have you never played autoloaders? This is standard to be a full reload time regardless of how many rounds in the clip already. So basically u are trying to include all autoloaders if you think that is the case

In this patch, the mm is no better it seems, at least for the one instance where in the 30v30 map where my team had 3 arty while the enemy had none.

Spend less time making new game modes for tier 10, and make the actual end game content you already have not suck or dead.

The Foch B is not an improvement.  Other than the interclip reload there isn't much better about it.  The armor still sucks because of your giant weak spot on top so you can't really get up front since you don't scare people as much.  You are too slow to beat tanks to a spot.  You back up like molasses.  You aren't accurate enough to snipe with your pathetic 257 pen.  I don't see this being any better than the 155 as a top tier td.

If you change the limit on arty per team to 2 then you will need to change the conditions on the LT missions that require you to damage or destroy at least 3 artillery

I recently bought the ISU-152 and was about to buy the BL-10 gun. I was extremely disappointed when I found out that it was being taken away and there is no point in me having the thank anymore:( It was just a big waste of my time and plus it was my favorite and everyone else's too. I hope that you guys consider bringing it back.

test servers are located in EU somewhere, its testing game content not ping

I think the ranked battles are going in the opposite direction I would've hoped. There are a number of tankers including myself that got to league 1 and hated every moment of grinding chevrons to secure our position. The season was too long for the rewards earned at the end and the mode itself, plagued by camping and three spgs in every battle, left more than a look of disgust on our faces every time we got into the next battle. With these new changes to earning chevrons I doubt anyone but the top 10 clans is going to even bother with reaching rank 5 every week as it felt like a roll of the dice to get on a winning team which then would make us worry about our position on the losing team which is undue stress. Chevrons were gained and lost right after being gained and sometimes you would run a streak of losing which basically made you feel like you wasted an entire hour to get back to where you were at the start of the night and now it'll be harder to progress with more chevrons being required at each rank and the removal of the top 3 on the losing team earning chevrons. If you want my input make it so that the top 5 on the losing team and the top 10 on the winning team earn chevrons while keeping the loss of a chevron solely to those that place under the top 5 on the losing team. This would make the struggle to climb ranks feel a little less like it was about getting lucky and more on how you actually performed in both situations winning or making the best of losing.

i have to admit i am pretty pissed that WG keeps focusing on only making new content for tier 10 players. its pretty lame to be honest. this is one reason i like the development team for World of Warships better, they are actually interested in allowing players from 5-10 participate in new content. Ranked battles in WOT being locked for tier 10 only has put a real damper on my will to actually play anymore either. if you can't get access to all of the cool content, then what is the point in playing. WOWS has opened Ranked battles to multiple tiers, and its actually fun and more diverse that way. 

 

come on WG, the tier 10 players are NOT the only ones that play this game. share the love when you introduce new content. 

 

not to mention, i have seen more potatoes at tier 10 than any other tier. its like WG thinks that the Special ED is the most important one. no one wants to play with Maus and E100 players that just sit there and camp all day.

I just read the update to ranked battles.  Each paragraph made me lose more of the already little interest I had in the mode.

 

This will make ranked battles even more of a credit sink.  Instead of the possibility of 13 battles to get to rank 5 (gain a chevron 13 times in a row) now it requires 25 battles if you gain a chevron in every battle.  That's not all though.  Now you'll only get a chevron if you're in the top 10 (instead of 12) on the winning team.  You don't get any chevrons for being on the losing team now.  

 

What's really frustrating is how it's worded as if this is supposed to be a benefit to players.  Why would I care about losing more credits for the same paltry rewards?  Oh you limited artillery to two per side and made it match the same number of heavies and mediums on both sides.  Whoop-tee-doo

I don't know if i'm the only one having this cursor problem, seems to happen once in a while and it stays until the battle ends.

It happens to me here and there.  If I hit the Ctrl key it goes away.

I do not like the new rock at D9 that blocks crossing the water on the Abbey map. I do not like that, "Sam-I-am."

It is fun to play on maps that make it a challenge and get to places on a map not everybody learns about.

I do not like it when WG takes away the best part of the game. I do not like that, "Sam-I-am."

Doing so only increases what I hate most about this game and that is the camping players that make the game boring.

Being able to spot from a place on the map tomatoes least expect is what makes the game fun.

While you are at it, why don't you also put rocks at D7, E7 and F7 to block players that hide to spot from there and also to shoot :bush:

You are making maps boring to play. :facepalm:
