Massive lag spikes and rubber banding!  Tested and confirmed it is on your server side.  Was going to buy a Lorraine 40t, but wow! No Way dudes!  Any communication as to what is going on?  Monthly, unplanned server problems ... leading me to conclude it is time to stop playing.

Pingplotter?

Let's see the results.

I agree there is lag..

My ping went from 25 to almost 500 yesterday and I lost control of my tank as I was about circle a 155 in the RU..

This has been going on since 9.17 and all wots has issued is silence and lack of action or accountability. Sad when a company cares so little for it's customers and ignores their complaints. WG. cat got your tongue.............

If the issue is between your client and the Wargaming server - how can Wargaming be held accountable?

Produce your proof like TDRHooRaH requested.  Ideally this would be a PingPlotter report. Remember to redact your IP address.

Not going into a pingplotter task requested from someone in DIG.  Ran into too many DIGs that are now on my blacklist.  Sorry man but you guys are generally malicious.

When it is possible to play on the EU and RU servers with no lag and you can't do so on your local server I'd say it's Wargaming's problem.

For other Comcast users experiencing Rubber Banding.  The above suggestion of a pingplot as a gold standard of connection quality is misleading.  Without mentioning the fact that pingplot misrepresents deprioritizing in Chicago as packet lost when it isn't real packet lost, is misleading or uninformed at best.  My rubber banding went away simply by calling 1-800-comcast.  Say, "slow internet."  Agree to have you modem reset remotely.  Wait a few minutes and wah lah, no rubber banding, 50 ms, and very smooth.  I think I might call comcast each day to reset the modem.  Good luck!

Ha!

I'll just assume you lied about testing and confirming that the problem is serverside.

Grow up.

Unless you can produce a list of the ping/packet loss at each server between your client and your local Wargaming server then you are expressing your opinion and this cannot be taken as fact.

It is entirely possible that a server between your client and your local Wargaming server has an issue.

That is what happens to me when I experience, with the exception IIRC of one time, high ping and packet loss.

So, with the exception IIRC of the one time, the issue is not with Wargaming but the ISP as they did not route around the server having the issues.

I know it's almost a dead thread, but has anyone else experienced the rubber banding with someone else?  I usually have comms open with my platoon mates, and generally, when I say "lag" they respond with "yep, me too".  While we all play on the west server, we all take different routes to the server in CA.

I'm not going to say I've tested anything, merely an observation of some very annoying coincidences, that I feel have cost us many victories.
