BTW. Simply sending in a ticket resolved the problem for me in the first place, as suggested here in the forums. Squeaky wheels get fixed first.

I hate when players use the Ticket System for anything other than Rule Violations. If people have an issue with something then they should post it the Game Bugs section.

There are problems that are better solved in private, like billing and account issues.

Why?

 

Isn't it quite simple to apply the stuff to players who actually, you know play?

 

I shouldn't have to do YOUR job for you. Taking time out of my day, i should be paid an hours work to sort out something, YOU get paid to sort out.

I submitted a ticket since I have not received the compensation.

 

 

I did receive an email from WG on Saturday August 5th stating that that WG is "crediting all players this Thursday" (August 10th), which I thought was odd since the original post from August 3rd stated that "This compensation will be paid out every Friday until a final fix is released." I'm assumed the payouts started Friday August 4th.

 

 

I understand that the payout process can take time. Has the payout timeline changed or is that email incorrect?

They dont review rules violations anymore its all based on there automated system so your thought has no merit.

That is not correct.  All chat violations and non-TK game violations are investigated and sanctioned under the Rules Violation Policy.

If you were eligible you should have received the compensation Friday (or very early Saturday).  CS will help you sort it out in that ticket.

Unfortunately, my paycheck does not comes with the ability to  omnipotently ensure the perfection of  a mass software script applying to several hundred thousand accounts.  I wish it did, that would be far easier and more preferable, but in the meantime the small percentage of eligible players who experienced issues will be best served by taking the extra step to submit a ticket so we can be sure they get their stuff.

Could we please make sure that the Contacts List fix, when it comes out, fixes the issue of messages randomly disappearing from Private Messages? I'm getting really tired of messages I sent 1-2 hours ago just completely disappearing, or people's responses disappearing after a few minutes. In some cases, I don't even get the message in the first place, even though the box flashes and I know for a fact that they sent me messages.

 

It's really ticking me off. This "compensation" does absolutely to fix the actual problem that's causing so many problems. At this point, I just want this clusterFoch fixed as the #1 priority. 1.7 billion dollars in revenue, and we can't get a core part of the game fixed after 3 months. It's a joke and a half.

It looks like I received compensation this morning.

Is this the compensation from August 4th (round 1 of payouts)? Or, is this compensation from today's payout (round 2)?


 

When I opened the ticket on August 8th the reply I got was "Your compensation will soon be credited to your account" and the ticket was closed (answered).

I reopened the ticket on August 10th asking for a definitive answer, since payouts were supposed to be paid out Friday (8/4) and early Saturday (8/5). The reply I received on 8/10 was "right now we are still distributing the payouts for the compensation rewards."

 

Just looking for clarification on round 1 payout time frame vs time frame for round 2, assuming their is a round 2.

Except you send a ticket in for anything and it is ignored or you're told it is part of an automated system that actually doesn't work. Like the constant botting of players in matches, or the ramming and pushing team mates out into the open on purpose. None of those players are dealt with and you still see the same ones running around constantly do the same thing. Hence why you have players with 30K+ matches and 36 win8 and less than 50 damage a match.

It's great for them to do this. I am a bit confused however as I receive this email saying this week we will be compensated on Thursday, and yet see in this thread it actually could mean Friday or Saturday?

In April we observed many players experiencing connection issues with the contact list resulting in players unable to chat, blacklist or platoon. We have been working hard to fix the issue and last week we deployed a temporary fix that solved the problem for the majority of players. We are currently working on a full fix that should be ready for deployment in the future. In the meantime we are crediting all players this Thursday with the following Thank You package for sticking with us during these problems and for all the help you provided in diagnosing the issue:
•         3 Days of Premium Time
•         3x 2hr +50% Credit Boosters
•         3x 3hr +200% XP Boosters
Thank you for your patience and for all of your help. We will update each Thursday on the status of the final resolution. Please keep sending us feedback and post to this forum thread if you are continuing to have issues:
