First of all I do not see the need to move the Foch from the tech line into a semi-premium.   The B is an extremely poor replacement with questionable value.  It still sports the glaring weakspots of it's predecessor but no longer instills fear in anything it faces allowing enemies to take the time to aim for them.  It backs up slower than some artillery and it's gun handling is definitely not a significant increase able to off-set the loss of alpha damage per magazine or shot.  The French line is now the only TD line limited to a 120mm option at Tier 10.  This td feels like it should be a T9 leading the real Foch and not a T10.

"no longer instills fear in anything it faces allowing enemies to take the time to aim for them."

Umm... ok... Lets just ignore the fact that it does 800 damage in the first 2 seconds, in 6 seconds its done 1,600 damage, and by the time it empty's it's clip in 10 seconds its done 2,400 damage...

and the Foch 155 does 2250 damage in 10 seconds so you know it's definitely a weaker version.

No... it does the majority of it's damage faster than the 155, and does more in the end... and because it's damage is split up into more shells, it is a lot more flexible.

So what is your point?

That it's not weaker, my point is that the OP is being an idiot.

  That's assuming you hit EVERY shot, you PEN every shot, get high rolls every shot, don't get screwed by RNG, or hit by 2 arty, a tier X TD, and an E-100 heat round while you're emptying your clip in 15 seconds.

For your skill level you don't see the potential of the Foch B, IMO this is the Waffle reincarnated

Pretty much the point I was trying to make.  By the time you can get all 6 shots out and hoping every one pens and all do not get snuffed by RNG you're next to destroyed by arty/HE fire.  I don't see this as anywhere near what the waffle was due to the fact that it's lacking the turret and the view range of the waffle along with some alpha (if the waffle was using the 122mm).

Did you even read my post? it only takes 10 seconds to empty the clip and 2,400 is the average damage, so no you don't need to high roll every shot...

Waffentrager E-100 had superior accuracy, and aim-time. It also had a turret, meaning you wouldn't lose camouflage when you aim. Considering the WT E-100 and Foch B both have pretty terrible camouflage, the WT E-100 would win out in a direct comparison.

Foch B has better 'armor' even though just about every tier 10 can easily penetrate it frontally, and whilst its inter-magazine fire rate is pretty good, the 257 pen is going to net bounces about 30% of the time, unless you get lucky and an enemy heavy decides to come around a corner with his side completely exposed or you spam gold like a scrublord. The tank feels better to play than the Foch 155 in as much as gun handling, but the punch with the 120mm feels incredibly wimpy, and every miss or bounce is going to make you cringe. The Foch at tier 9 and the Mle. 48 still feel like garbage to play though, the Foch especially as there is no non-autoloader option.

Foch 155 takes 5 seconds between each shot, your target will long be retreating before your next shot comes up.

That goes both for the 155 and the 120. Also, both clips take 10 seconds to fully unload, not 15.

After playing the new foch B I can say that is a terrible tank onless you use gold. WG needs buff the pen to 277 or better then this tank might be worth it .

I grinded from mle to foch and finally got 155 since they announced switch. Mle is playable. Foch I grinded stock cause I had to save xp to get 155. Foch is bad. Maybe in few games I got around 4k damage. 51prcent wr. If you play agressive it is fun. Needs a lot more armor, speed and turning speed. Gun is realy not bad. 155 is to slow. Gun bounces to much and armor is paper. Needs 3shot under 8 sec and 20 sec reload to be agressive. If being a long range shooter needs far better pen. Idiot view ports on top as a huge weak spot needs to be removed. And ofc fhey are all to big.

fosh 50b is a decently scary tank, but their's much worse on the horizon. It's just a walking salt generator, and it's likely going to be the biggest issue in the future for medium players. It's less of a heavy killer, and more of a medium pusher. you could camp in it, but I just think it's way to powerful at killing mediums. At the end of the day, I don't think this is going to get to competitive tier, but it's going to be a literal driving salt mine. We will hear endless complaints about it, justified or not.

Really not looking forward to having to deal with these new Chinese TD, with armor as effective as an E3's at that angle, and the speed of a medium.

I guess if we're talking about how the foch 50b is apparently OP, we need to also nerf the AMX 50B ... its practically the same in gun handling characteristics, afterall they're the exact same gun. The AMX Foch 50B is PERFECTLY fine for Tier 10, besides the glaring weakpoints. However, the AMX AC 48? uh ... okay, so its basically an AMX 50B/Foch 50B at tier 8 ... right.

Lets not even mention that its practically pointless without premium rounds, right? it just begs us to USE premium rounds, otherwise ... without a tank presenting a decent side on target, or its squishy, you wont pen in the Foch 50B, and can we please stop basing our views on this tank based off of watching super unicum players use it, they're the exception, not the example - they can make any tank look sufficiently overpowered, heck, Circon has made the T-34-3 look overpowered, he's made the AMX 50 100 look BETTER than the Lorraine 40t, and he's made the Lorraine 40t just look blatantly broken.

And, if the reload rate of the Foch 50B was upped, it would put it right back into the same state the Foch 155 is in - pointless, just a waste. 40-50 second reload for 6x120mm shells? with 257 penetration at tier 10? ... what was the point in replacing the 155 then? it becomes EXACTLY like the 155 again. AMX Foch 50B 2x400=800 - AMX Foch 155 1x750=750 ... see what I did there? basically becomes just as wasteful, why bother getting it when most of your rounds will bounce and you'll just be dealing with the same exact result as the 155, the acclaimed 750 DPM tank.

Instead of whining about it in the test server, where all anyone ever does is just zerg rush and be overly aggressive, don't bother to angle and present large flat broadsides for TD's to punish, any TD - lets wait until it hits Live servers, where people actually take care of there tanks health pool and don't do such stupid wasteful things? let the current AMX Foch 50B hit the live servers and see how it deals fighting players that DO CARE about being shot at by 120mm shells.
