I bought mine from Lombardy and they arrived very promptly - within a week, I think.

The books are really quite nice.  The quality is excellent and there's tons of new photos and information. They're easily worth the normal $40 price, let alone the $30 early buyer discount, and that's before considering the gold, premium time, and premium tanks they include.  Basically they're as cheap as an Osprey book, but three times as thick and informative.

I'm definitely looking forward to more books in this series!

Since I already had the T-34/85 M, I got 1.5 million credits instead.  The books also came with a fold-out comic-style booklet on the SU-152, which is printed on high-quality paper so it's well suited to lining bird cages.

Has anyone received and read these books yet? I am trying to decide if they are worth the $60 I would pay to get both of them. I am interested, since they are written using information from the Russian archives, which is difficult to come by, but I'm kind of on the fence about them right now. Any information/reviews/opinions would be nice.

EDIT: Nevermind, I missed the fact that there was a second page and so missed the post right above this one.

Hey Cabbagepatch!

What did you find out about Amazon?

I'm in a similar situation. Amazon just sent me an email wanting to know if I want to cancel my order. It appears there is no timetable to deliver the book. If I cancel, I wasted a Prime Day book promotion on the order. If Wargaming has more information it would be helpful

Almost a month later anyone know any more info about the Amazon orders? Can't find any options to contact the seller about it

I have not heard anything official about my order via amazon, other than them not having a delivery date like others who have posted.

I do have a personal opinion:  they never intend to fulfill the amazon orders. I believe they wanted the visibility that amazon gives them, but they don't want to actually sell the books at the discounted prices - they want us to get fed up and buy them for $30 each. Just my opinion.

Hey guys,

I have tried to track down the amazon store and no one seems to want to take credit for it.  As best we can tell it is being run by the distributor - unfortunately WG is not actually involved in that storefront (just through the World of Tanks Books site linked in the original post) so my ability to assist further is limited.  I encourage any of you who purchased through Amazon to pursue any and all options available to you through them to get what you ordered.

What's this, issues with the book being delivered on time?!

Wow, if only someone could have predicted this... oh wait.

How many months overdue will the shipping on this book you're promoting be?

Because I certainly recall people having issues with Hunnicutt's Firepower being delivered in a timely fashion.

Yes, I realize that Amazon/Publisher is at fault for the majority of the issue... but WG promoted it, so they bear a certain level of responsibility.

This is why people hate the NA office, because you are all predictably incompetent... and anything you attach your name to, turns to mud.

Latest from Amazon is an expected October 1, 2017 ship date. But they stress expected. I would guess that the publisher is holding back because they are trying to outsmart Amazon. The Amazon price is $17.95.  If you ordered it be sure to check your account ASAP because Amazon wants you to verify that you still want the book.

I don't think War Gaming is responsible for these problems

I received the following email today from Amazon.ca...

"We're sorry to report we won't be able to obtain the following item that you ordered:

Pasholok, Yuri  World of Tanks - The SU-152 and Related Vehicles.

Although we expected to be able to send this item to you, we've since found it's not available from any of our sources at this time. We realize that this is disappointing news to receive, and we apologize for any inconvenience we've caused you. We must apologize also for the length of time it's taken us to reach this conclusion. Your order is now closed. Thank you for shopping with amazon.ca."

I just got the "do you still want this item" email from Amazon. I ordered on August 23.

Current status:

Not yet shipped
Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date.

yeah, its too bad about the book, but I can't say I'm hurtin' too much...I got the tier 8 Chinese premium TD instead, as a late fathers day gift, and its been pretty good to me. I aced it on game 5, and will definitely be playing this tank for quite a while.

Sounds like Amazon has screwed up big time.

I bought my copies directly from Lombardy Studios and they were delivered in about a week.  The link to Lombardy was in the original WOT posting, and I think this is it:

http://lombardystudi.../world-war-two/

which has a link to the ordering site:

http://worldoftanksb...-get-free-gift/

So if you still want the books, I suggest you try there.

Thanks for the info Bill. I am going to order it directly from their site.
