Update: The Silver skype group has been talking about it, and it looks like we plan to set it up after Gold Quals. I look forward to working with all you guys as we get this set up :)

Yea, this something I would definitely go for.

Now, We aren't including sand river right?

And would we do 7/68 or do what they are doing for gold league quals and that is 7/70

I'm guessing you would follow the rules for gold quals and next season. Wouldn't make sense to have a different set of rules, makes things more complicated. Also sand river is fun, get to learn a new map :D

That would make no sense... Why not use the exact same rules as quals/gold league?

7/70 and Sand River are in the global rule set for this coming season. Not sure what the reasoning would be to not use it?

Spoiler alert, they renamed Steppes to Sand River in 9.20

Spoiler

The goal of USL will be to provide enjoyment/entertainment as well as a training ground for 2018's league, whatever global does we will do (better).

I'd love it if Wargaming could set up a tourney for Silver League, even if it didn't lead into Gold League. Heck, I'd be OK without the gold prize, if they could make it so credits couldn't be lost. I do think a gold prize would attract good teams though, especially if the top eight or ten teams won gold prizes. It would also help keep the league alive. Promoting Silver League independently of Gold League seems like a fun version of endgame for those less dedicated to things like Clan Wars, and less skilled than Gold League members. Perhaps even a set up like traditional sports, having an unlimited entry system for the standard season, and a post-season where the best Silver League teams compete for gold prizes  (similar to how the current Gold League Quals are occuring - but maybe a little longer "standard" season). I like the 70 vs 70 tournament game mode, and would think promoting it would help interest people into WoT as an eSport.

WG already stated they aren't doing anything for a SIlver League this season, hence the reason why we are all doing this stuff. WG doesn't wanna do it, so we will do it better!!!
