Had several games in a row now. My team is down 2-9 or 3-9 inside two minutes. Is there a bonus for getting killed fast or something? How can so many teammates die so fast?

Yes once dead they can sit as spectators and berate anyone who is actually trying to do the unthinkable and win the game

lol, i was in a weak tier 8 in a tier 10 game, team died, i wound up in the corner behind cap, managed to do a lot of damage and kill a few -- the dead were taunting me, "learn to play coward noob camper", after the battle I noticed that all three of our tier X did a combined total of 300 damage :child: but its my fault we lost??

I really find it hard to understand how they can get killed so fast. Unless doing deliberately.

Stupidity is far more powerful than intent.

They're going for something called the Underacheiver award.

Stuff happens and not everyone can perform well all the time, allot of players dont perform well often, myself included

I really cant see the enjoyment factor in this game - most of team gets murdered, tank gets taken from 2 sides. Rinse repeat. 3 time lucky its a walkover for my team, lucky to get a shot off.

My theory: On "x" weekends people play for quantity and not quality.  They figure the faster they click the battle button the greater their odds are at getting a win.  The problem with that line of thinking is that too many are playing "that game" and there are not enough players left to get those wins. JMHO.

Trick is not to always be the first tank, play aggressive but fall back when the flank is screwed so you can fight from a better position to either carry to a win or maximize your loss.

Yes there is an incentive to die fast...

And it has been discussed before.

The theory is that if you just spam battles , leave for garage as soon as you die and start another battle, do this over and over as fast as you can you will grind XP faster then actually playing the game.

Fire once or twice for dmg, and then die. You can have several tanks going like this and get a tonne of battles done per hour.

This is all possible because WG think it's a good thing to give XP no matter what you do in a battle, no regard to if you actually win or not.

At mid tiers you willl get around 3-400 xp on a quick loss or 5-600 on a quick death victory, but during the time you are waiting for that game you already have finished another 2-3 battles the same way.

So yes there is an incentive to play fast battles and some of our fellow players are expressing exactly that behaviour when they get up in tiers.

This^

don't shoot gold or use consumables, yolo, rinse and repeat.  tier 5,6 seems to be the optimum tiers to do it.

Sure you can do it this way.

But not if you realy want to learn anything.

IMO this advice from OldFrog75 (from another thread) is a much better way to gain exp. :honoring:

Staying alive longer will likely help anyone become a better player.  Consider 3 different players:

1.  Survives for an average of 60 seconds

2.  Survives for an average of 2 min

3.  Survives for average of 3 min

For every 1000 battles played:

1.  Player #1 has 16.7 hours of battlefield practice and experience

2.  Player #2 has 33 hours of battlefield practice and experience

3.  Player #3 has 50 hours of battlefield practice and experience

Dying early and immediately hitting the battle button doesn't help very much when it comes to learning how to play better.  If a struggling player dies early, they should click onto a better player's camera and follow them around for the rest of the battle.  Might learn something.

i have been seeing players that are worse then noobs or tomatoes

like someone with 8k games played and has a overall win record of 38% how can you get that low and not win at least 40% of your games

A lot of that during normal times is because of xvm and idiots who suicide the moment it looks like they are playing on a disadvantaged team or are just complete potatoes. Got really pissed off when I came home from work (hours changed) and the teams were even worse than when I normally play.
