The game should not result in a draw at the end of the timer when one team has more tanks than the other, its kind of bull.
At the end of the match timer, the team with the most kills/tanks left should win.
The fact that a light tank can force a draw is kind of stupid.

About 1% of my battles are draws... so this really causes me zero concern.

No.

Draws mean you didn't do your job good enough, the game does not reward mediocrity.

Also camping would get worse.

In addition to all these informed opinions there is also the little fact that the game has 2 conditions for victory;

Destroy ALL opposition vehicles or Capture the Opposition Base.

Anything else is therefore by definition a Draw

I disagree. A loss would fit in with your definition! A draw is more tactical often as not. This game, as I'm sure you must know, is not just about shooting tanks, it is designed so you outwit your enemy. To that end, a draw situation is a loss, but it denies the enemy a win! That means if your team is winning and it fails, as you have stated, with a draw, the team loses. If, however, your team is losing, then denying the enemy a victory is a personal victory for you.

So I will do everything I can in draw situations to deny the enemy a win, simple as that.

It depends, whether you play the game, or play the statistics. For the statistic player there is no gain as is clear from the OP's suggestion.

Fortunately, WG provides a game for all gameplay styles, although they have been eroded with successive updates, the draw scenario is at least an opportunity to play tactically.

For the statistic player who does not like it, hard cheese!

Have fun, playing for the draw.

Guffy.

I drive LTs.

Catch me if you can.

I'd rather have a draw than a defeat.

Well, in some cases, I would say that is true. But for the difference that in WoT, a draw is basically a loss for all concerned. A draw is treated as a loss for credits earned, and xp given. I am not even sure if a courageous resistance award can be issued if no team won, since you have to be on the end of a "your team lost, but you did enough to get full benefit" situation.  That being said, I would also tend to try and draw, if I could, unless I knew I had a resistance bonus waiting for my loss, and knew that I could not win.
