Yes

Use PingPlotter.  Here is the Support URL - https://na.wargaming...kb/articles/145

As for IP address. Hers is the list from Wargaming.net Global Wiki [may not be accurate as it does not reflect the North American Central Server] - http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Servers

Thankyou, exactly what I needed. should have looked the IP address up myself, if my brain was working and it wasn't so late I would have :(

I have PingPlotter charts from trying to diagnose other recent problems, so have something to compare too.

Just running it now it shows my ping approx 30% of what it is on the combined server . From Bunbury in WA its showing a steady 85 ms. to the Asia server No spikes or packet loss.

It was between 260-280 with + spikes and packet loss on US west. Ill try and find the address for the new server and test that, but if that difference is similar or better, ill be moving across if the opportunity arises.

New central server is 320 MS with spikes to aver 375!!!!

Thanks.

With the new AU Server going online 1st Nov, ping to this is going to be 20-50 from either NZ or if you are in AU.  The Server is based in Sydney.

PYRO are the top english speaking clan on the Asia server but we are always looking for quality tankers to help us improve and take our game to another level.  We are a CWs based Clan, with Skirmishes, Advances also done daily.

Drop Hilly a pm if you are interesting in coming over with this transfer.

Look forward to seeing some new recruits.

My ping to SEA is 10ms (I'm in SG) and it's very tempting.. I have a low tier account there which I've mostly only played for marathons, and gameplay seems fine.

The lack of communication isn't all that big a deal, since I probably only have 1 game out of every 50 on NA where my team actually tries to work with me..

Anybody has a high tier SEA account for me to play with? Don't really feel like playing the Pilot with zero crew skills..

Come on over 20-50 ping from AU Server opening 1st Nov

You may not fit under PYROs requirements, but I can certainly give you a run down of other potential clans you can join.  Pop by our Teamspeak Server.

I reckon I will move to SEA.

Last time I tried it the ping was pretty bad, but this time the ping was 140-170ms from NZ so even better than NA West server.

I don't know how the social thing will be but I will probably have enough friends moving too, and there seem to be some NZ/AUS clans.

Sad really - nearly 6 years playing on the NA servers but getting into games faster does not matter if the games you get into are not fun to play.

Hey MightyFlynn, I transfered over. The user names are all messed up till they reset the servers so it is all solo play at the moment until I can reconnect with old clan members.

Correct, you will get a User_1XXXXXXXX account name to start with.  I think when Korea transferred over they have the User_3XXXXXXX numbers.

Also count down for AU Server

Congratz to WG - they hosted a good night, was pleasantly surprised.

Spoke to alot of tankers on the SEA and got the impression that most players are not really happy with the player base on the SEA ( English not being the common language a major factor ) but the general consensus was positive that they would play on the AU server. I am seriously considering moving just to play with friends and fellow countrymen as long as there are numbers sufficient playing on the ANZ server as i am not interested in playing at all on SEA.

Yeah I heard it was a god event in Sydney.  Language is a problem but they also turned off chat in game, so you only get yours sides chat now.  It would be similar to EU I would imagine with all the different languages.

Though with the ANZ Server, it is pretty much English all the time now, and having 10-50 ping, bring it on!  Had over 3000 people on it last night and its still early days.  Hoping it grow....
