Server Merge Survey is now available here

 

We appreciate everyone's willingness to help optimize the Central Server by completing the survey. All completed surveys submitted by Wednesday, 20:59 Pacific of each week will be paid out on Thursday of the same week. The first payout will be August 24th, which will include all survey-takers from August 16 - 23 (20:59 Pacific). 

 

Any player that completes the survey will receive the following items: 

• 1 Premium Day
• 3x - 100% 2hr Crew XP
• 3x - 100% 2hr Free XP

We'd also like to inform you that the survey link will be disabled every Wednesday at 21:00 Pacific and turned back on after each week's payout list has been finalized every Thursday morning.

I didn't see the option for - "Do you see this server move as a cost saving exercise, because we have screwed up so many times that we are killing our own player base?"

So question about this line from the survey:

So does that mean that those of us that are having no issues can't complete the survey?  Where's the option for "my ping is a tad higher but it's inconsequential and I'm glad that we will no longer be diluting the US game population across 2 servers?"

Why is it when playing Warships I get a 110 ping and its 250 for tanks?

We'd like for as many people to complete the survey, whether or not they're experiencing connection related issues.

I'm having an issue with this survey.

 

I did everything, played the game with pingplotter running for 15 minutes, got the text and the image of the results.

Closed the game, lauched the WGCheck tool, ran it as instructed.

So, I have two reports for PingPlotter, one WoT_report.wgc, and one wotreplay, all ready to be submitted. The thing is the survey page doesn't let me upload *.wgc and *.wotreplay files! So there's no way to submit them. And there is no point in taking a screenshot of the wgc file, since I'd need about 100 screenshots to cover every bit of info it contains. For the replay, being a battle of about 7 minutes, at ~60 fps, I think I'd need around 25k screenshots to cover the whole match.

 

Sarcasm aside, I'd really like to help with this new server, but I need a workaround.

servers in 2 different locations, you dont think they run all their games on one server do you?

My ping and packet loss have improved considerably (western Canada).

The UScentral server offers me a ping in the 55-65 range, which is about 40 to 50 better than the USwest was, and about 70 to 80 better than USeast was.

Overall packet loss seems much reduced.

 

It's a win for me, i hope it's a win for the majority of others too.

 

I looked at the survey, but since i didn't have any issues, i didn't fill it out.... But can i have free stuff anyways? Lol j/k

Just gotta say well done guys!

Completed surveys, whether or not you're experiencing issues. Our goal is to optimize the connections and there's a possibility of something showing up in the files we're requesting. Those suggestions run the risk of players just filling out the easy survey just to get the reward, and in the long-run doesn't help to optimize the server.

I submitted the survey even though I cant upload the replay or the wgc. Just to let you know I have no seen problems but wanted to give you guys my data anyways. Good luck with looking threw all that data.
