Edit:  As I posted and posted this thread soon morphed from a post your music thread to an artist dedication.  And got me in the doghouse when Seven Angels was blaring (which is how it should be played) as the better half came into the man cave and told me to put my headphones on or turn it DOWN!!!   It's late and my "weekend" starts tomorrow, she goes back to work. :P

Currently running a playlist featuring Free or related bands.  Enjoy...  and as always post your own.   Didn't help that I was playing this (first) song at work and a colleague liked it and asked who it was and had no clue when I explained.  Even when I said you know Paul Rodgers...  Bad Company.   Who???    SM*H.

Anyhoo...

Great to bring these guys to the spotlight, as they are easily overlooked... However, I feel you missed one of their best tunes, "Songs of Yesterday". That bass line is so incredible, and moves people on the dance floor every time.

Nice posts all and agree xrays on both counts.  Anyhoo...  here's a few more from bands that the members played in at one time or another.  Or maybe even collaborations.  We'll see where it goes.

Seen these guys perform live in 85 at Madison Square Garden.  Page did the bow on the guitar thing which was pretty cool.

Some really great tunes and covers here. Nice job all. Big fan of the groups and Rodgers and love the others singers and bands doing their songs. ++++++++
