My ping jumps between 30 and 150 after the merge. Some time even worse, up to 200. They call the new server the CENTRAL server, and i live right in the middle of America. People even call my state the crossroad of America. So, my guess, Indiana is too far away from this central?

Used to play on the east server with 30 to 50 ping without any problems. The win rates tells me to stop playing until they fix the new server. Dropping from 62% plus win rate down to 58% plus daily.

Chicago i'm pretty sure they said, and they tested various locations across the states, while not exactly 'center' it probably has a reason to be better than if it actually was

Chicago, so it's probably been shot twice already.

i dont understand why you think you're in the middle of the US...you are easily 2/3 of the way to the east coast.

your poor ping is punishment for giving us Mike Pence

Dang !! .... and what do you wish for those living in New York ?!?!?!

In Florida my ping has gone from 50-60 to 60-70 with frequent max spikes in battle. Not much difference except for the higher spikes. If it gets unplayable I just log off.

A country the size of the US really needs four servers geographically, but with the minuscule player population, that will never happen.

Las Vegas here, and no appreciable ping difference here.

it's not NY's fault.  He was never elected there, he lost "bigly" in that state.

I've just run a speed test

45.4 Mbps download

12.92 Mbps upload

Latency: 154 ms
Server: Chicago, IL

Your Internet speed is fast

Your Internet connection should be able to handle multiple devices streaming HD videos at the same time.

i dont think its something wrong about my connection. coz the lag for me occurred right after the server merge.

I laugh at 70 ping... my norm is 165 and it's fine... I do OK.

I'm pretty sure WG's server has nothing to do with your lag. If you're getting 154ms to a speedtest server, then it's your ISP's routing that's screwed up, that or you don't live where you say you live.

The Central Server is located in Hillary's bathroom.

It is Chicago from what I hear, but with the lag they might as well save more money and move it all the way to Russia.  After all, if the Russians can get by with using old potato xp machines, we should learn to live with the lag.

I am at the point where I check back each week, used to be every few days, but they are making a fortune on what they save on overhead with only one NA location, forget I will not buy another tank unless it becomes usable.  I have health problems and the lag just drives my heart rate through the ceiling.  Sad that I feel so much better when I stop trying to play since the lag leaves you blind and out of control.  I would have bought the Mutz on sale but cannot even handle low tiers under these conditions.

At least the folks in Chicago will have a great game with empty ques to get into games, in fact, the problem will become not enough players instead of too many.  Have to love how bean counters make a money making decision that fails and of course double down on it.  I do not understand why they could not make high speed lines linking to the central server from the coasts.  Oh yah, that would mean putting money back in the game.

Ignore the man behind the curtain, I mean the lag times, they mean nothing, game play is fine.  Just keep repeating the mantra till the customers are gone and no longer bugging support.

Why they move the server from nice places like Washington DC and San Jose to a crime infested craphole like chicago.
