No Audio Windows 10 64bit

so after a long break of world of tank i decided to re install it again. when i did finish i have had no audio in garage or in game i even checked all the settings and made sure it was not muted i  ever deleted preferences and i reinstalled and restarted . i even ran in administrator and nothing no sound what so ever is there anyone that could help please .

 

i get audio when i play YouTube but not the game

please help

Your audio driver is pretty old, 2015. Have you checked for a new driver for your card? I had an XFI fatality card I had to get rid of when I got windows 10. Try to update that driver if you can, if that doesn't work do a fresh install of WoT.

Also I would delete the identity of your computer. Basically nobody needs to see the first few lines above the windows version.

@viper69 thank you i have updated the driver but my next problem is i can not sent dts or dolby live to receiver and the game only says for 2.0 to 2.1 audio but i have surround sound . how could i get world of tanks to detect i have that

In your creative labs or windows audio setup do you have headphones toggled on? I find if you have those on it may not let the game use the 5.1 audio.

ok well i got 2..1 audio on receiver can not change to 5.1 also in creative labs settings i get no audio from WOT when i go dts or doulby

Hmm. When you do the speaker test in the creative will it only let you choose two speakers?  I hope someone can help you more than I have. I'm sorry I wasn't much help.

@viper69 you have helped a lot 5.1 works for desktop and youtube but not in this game for some reason i have change it to say 5.1 but on receiver still playing 2.1 and played around with setting on receiver and nothing

I had a similar problem with windows 10 and this game. In the bottom right hand corner of the screen near the clock, Right click on the speaker icon. Select  open volume mixer. If there is a channel for World of tanks, unmute it. I turns on occasionally when USB headphones are used. Hope this helps.
