I have a tank with 4 women and 1 man crew.  The women are all working on their 4th skill.  The man is working on his third.   But the Accelerated Crew Training keeps on training the lowest woman and ignores the man. Surely an end product of merging Sisters Of Steel with Brothers In Arms.  See attached image

Accelerated crew training goes to the crew member with the least amount of total crew xp not the lowest amount of skills/perks. The girls have only accumulated about 630K xp so far while the guy has about 1150K xp. The girls will be into their 5th skill before the guy gets to be the one getting the accelerated crew training bonus. That's the whole benefit of 0 perk crews.

for the women BiA doesnt count as a skill so technically the female crew member has the least amount of xp still

Unless the male crewmember came from one of those bundles with tanks + 0th perk – BiA – crews, it's working as intended. Since all female crewmembers have a 0th perk, you should count their 4th skills/perks as 3rd when it comes to amount of experience points.

So if you want to count how much experience they have, you'll need to read it as:

Commander: 2x 100% + 1x 84%

Gunner: 2x 100% + 1x 87%

Driver: 2x 100% + 1x 79%

Radio Operator: 2x 100% + 1x 19%

Loader: 2x 100% + 1x 91%

In the end, you'll notice the Loader actually has the highest amount of experience.

Thanks for the answers.   I think that is a very poor system.  Do they apply this to male crew that come with BIA, such as Victoria Pilzen?

It doesn't screw it up.  Their SoS is a 0 skill so when dealing with training you just pretend it's not there.  And, no, it's not from merging.  It's always been like that.

thats weird, i have a few mixed crews, so will have to remember to put the low ones in the premiums with the free first skill.

The system is fine.

0 skill means they get BIA/SoS for free and doesn't count towards their total exp earned.

So, if your female crew is on their 4th skill, in regards to exp earned, they are on their 3rd skill.

And yes, that includes the male BIA 0 skill crew (such as the Primo Victoria, Pudel, Thunderbolt, and Berlin Quartet crew).

Yes it is. Originally they had to be separate, but one of the patches this year made them totally compatible. Feel free to mix brothers in arms with sisters of steel, which is actually now also brothers in arms
