I don't sell any tanks unless I really, really hated playing them and/or had very bad luck in them.

Forgot how many tanks I have now, but after this next round of purchases its going to be well above 80 tanks in my garage.

All premium tanks that I got for free and or purchased.

Except for that M4 Revalorise that I traded in for the FV4202.

Non-premium tanks come and go. But I probably will keep some non-premium tanks on tiers VII to X; IS-3, T-10, M103, Conqueror, and Caernarvon (re-purchase late).

I have a lot of tanks at various tiers, and various classes, which in turn made doing the personal missions up to and through the T55a campaign fairly easy.  Even many of the obj 260 missions weren't truly difficult as I pretty much had the right tanks to do them efficiently - in fact the 'difficulty' in many of those particular missions is getting the right map/ MM and battle unfolding scenario's

  • I have 19 tier 10s - haven't ever sold one yet - one is the obj 907
  • At Tier 9 I have:
    • E50
    • E75
    • Amx 30P  (not currently crewed)
    • Skoda T 50
    • Waffle PzIV
    • Object 704
    • Cent 7/1
    • Amx 1390
    • Ru 251
    • T54LTWT
    • T49
    • T55a
    • M53/55 <-- will eventually sell.  it's keeping the crew in one spot for easy finding and collectiveness for retraining - but I don't need the credits

  • At Tier 8 I have:
    • Amx CDC
    • Amx 50t
    • IS-3
    • IS-5
    • ISU-152
    • JGTig8.8
    • KV-4 Kressel
    • KV-5
    • M41 Bulldog  <-- contemplating selling it, and it used to be my favorite tank in the game
    • Pz 58 Mutz  <-- won it in a contest.  it's been power creeped to hades and back
    • RHM Borsig  <-- crew spends more time in the e25
    • T26e4 Super Pershing
    • T32  <-- never really like it, it too might be sold if credits are needed

At Tier 7 and below it's basically premium tanks and stuff like the T71, T20 and Cromwell.  basically at these tiers these tanks can either be kept, sold, and repurchased, or passed through depending on their meta relevancy and/or mood+willingness to play at those tiers.

Right map, right enemies, the appropriate number of imbeciles on either team... that's the Obj missions.  I've completed every mission in the game, and I bet I used fewer than 15 tanks, lol.  Lights = RU at tier 8 for almost all of them (used LTTB for several also).  Meds = crom and bat for almost all of them, Heavies IS7, IS3, and KV2(made the damaged module missions freakin easy), TD's SU100 and Obj 263, and SPG I bet I used bert for 50/60 missions, the others were in CGC or heat spamming in GWpanther when that was an option.  Its crazy how much has changed since I did the missions... lights... spg's... all completely different now.  Would have loved the bufffed IS7 back then though. :)

On a side note, i've been going back through doing 2ndary awards for some I missed, the first 2 mission sets were a real joke.

They change every update. Vehicle stats, crew stats, shell pen and armour are all dubious so what's the point?

Still newish compared to most of you guys, Don't have any tier I thru IIIs though i would like to play the M2 medium with the derp gun again it was alot of fun for me. Tier IV I have the Hetzer favorite tier IV tank as well as a german medium that I liked but never played. Tier V is my favorite tier next to tier VII and up. Especially tier V heavies. Each one has it's own quirks, and play styles that I really enjoyed with the T1, VK.30, O-I exp, and the Churchill I my absolute faves. The Chaffee is another favorite, and of course the prince of derp the M4, and Pz IVH.

Tier VI I fell in love with the M6, but also enjoyed the O-I. The Churchill VII is fun for me but I think that's really it for tier VI tanks that I liked alot. Tier VII of course the T29, the T71 (still trying to learn this tank), the O-Ni, Tiger I, and Tiger (P) so far are my favorite tier VIIs.

Tier VIII is my favorite tier have alot of primmy tier VIII tanks. But out of the non prims the T32 is my absolute favorite. Out of the premiums I guess the Super Pershing would be my next favorite tough little bugger that he is. The T34 took some getting used too but I am enjoying it now that got the hang of it. Tier IX I have only the M103. I like it it's a solid tank imo. But what do I know. :P

97 in garage. I keep premiums, grinders, and tanks that I have marked. Unless I'm credit poor at the time, then I have sold marked tanks, but plan on buying them back. Those include: Tiger II, T28 Proto, T30, WZ 131,

I have very few vehicles in Garage at any one time.I have a few keepers. It is ironic that the vehicles I enjoy playing the most can have the worst performance, but there are possibly underlying reason based on my play style.

Keepers:

Matilda. It is a love thing. Not what it was as WG stealth nerfed it with the updates, introduction of more nemesis vehicles and faster play. I still enjoy the "pew pew" play, though getting kills can often be hard work! At her best the Tilly is an assassin with a needle weapon. She will harass and confuse the enemy. She is often underestimated by her foes. I have had the best scraps with Tilly than any other tank. She can be at her best when she is up against it, she can perform heroic acts win or lose. I think I have had more courageous resistance points from Tilly than any other vehicle, she sells her life dearly! Still a fun tank even though painfully slow at times she can miss the action! She needs to be going downhill with a strong wind behind her! Good crew skills are essential!

Cromwell. I do tend to go into complete nutter mode with this tank. It is such fun. It was a while ago, but I came up against a platoon of these beasties and they cleaned up in short order. Clearly the players were playing them in platoon often and coordinated superbly. It was a privilege to watch them in action. One of the most flexible vehicles in the game in that you can set your own objectives and the Cromwell is capable of doing the job. Worth getting for sheer entertainment value.

T29. I am not a natural heavy tank player, but I do like how this tank plays. Probably a bit outclassed these days by more hard hitting opponents, but she can still hold her own hull down. A good vehicle to platoon with, I learned a lot from playing this tank with knowledgeable team mates.

ELC AMX. Not what it was after a very cruel nerf, but again, for sheer entertainment value it a fun vehicle. Often not played as well as it could be, usually players feel forced to play it incorrectly by ignorant peer pressure! It can be used as a mini TD as well as a spotter. The key with it is to survive and good judgement when and where to deploy is essential. I have often thought the ELC is most lethal in the endgame!

Bishop. Personally I prefer short range artillery as you feel you are more in the game. Often high risk, because it is slow and usually needs to get into positions where it can easily be destroyed if you come up against the enemy too soon. I think it worth the risk to get better targets. It does not have stun and getting kills can be hard work now. Working with the team to enable team mates to advance it can still be lethal. Probably one of the better arty for entertainment value. I have a Bert, but I think it is overrated.

KeHo. The only tank I would keep on the Japanese tree! A bit slow, but a hard hitting gun and a fun little tank.

I don't play upper tiers, no incentive to do so. I have never bought a premium vehicle, because I do not want to part with hard earned and there are other ways to crave disappointment. I have played many, many vehicles, mainly because I am always curious, I have loads researched which I have yet to upgrade to. The biggest drain on gold for me is crew. An expensive business keeping to a standard you need to play a higher tier. Something I am reluctant to do now.The successive updates WG have made has suppressed any desire to progress up the tiers. I am content with what I have for the time being.

Have fun.

Guffy.

Ive kept allot of the tanks , preem or other to show in training rooms at one time before they killed clans and events . Tournaments I always found about 4 in every tier that plays well if your going against certain teams . At the time you had teams that liked to bring the same tanks to the table witch is fine . But some tanks held an advantage over those tanks if played right and lots of luck was on your side . I think my garage is up to 230ish tanks maybe . But where like I said were good to go into training and let the team kick the tires sort of speak  ..

With all the premiums I have (probably in the neighborhood of 50) tier 2 to 8, i started thinning out the garage of tech tree tanks. Mosly keep the classic tier 5s and 6s, some tier 7 mediums, the rest can get sold.

Too many tanks, so little time.
