Haven't had any problems with it myself, I play ~40% arty, I'd guess. About all I get is the occasional complaining that I didn't kill their entire team.

Honestly, I have more moments when people actually try to HELP me in specific than hurt me. A few days ago, I actually had a 15hp medium that pulled out of direct combat and started spotting for my M44. He'd light 'em, track 'em so they'd stay still for a few seconds, then my 150 would clobber them. Then he'd poke up and put in a round while they were stunned, and back off. We got several tanks that way, and helped our team make a solid win!

I have been directly TKd ONE time in arty.  I have about 30% of all my games in arty, because I have a crap connection so slow, casemate TDs and Arty tend to get played a lot where I can compensate for lag and low frame rates.  I also have a potato computer, so that explains most of that.

Otherwise, though, my experience has been pretty much what Komitadjie posted.

I hate arty, and when I get side[edited]ed by them repeatedly... I become color blind.

You hit the lottery.  There are a few twits that do that, I've witnessed it personally several times over the years.  Unfortunately the ban doesn't work really well if you one shot a teammate.  The plan in you occasionally hitting teammates you on accident.  That's a perfectly fair assessment as it happens to pretty much everyone.  So that mechanic is abused by the arty whiners to TK arty sometimes.

I just finished my arty missions for Stug, a lot of games but nobody so much as bumped me. Sounds like bad luck.

Yeah, beginning to sound like I just hit an outlier.  I hope it isn't gonna be a trend.  I am not gonna get that T-55A without running arty for a while.  Unless I get very lucky and Honors everything else, which I did on the Stug missions, but did not on the HTC missions.

Yeah from what I've seen on the forums there is a bit of a movement, but with a low population. I grind arty just like everything else but do think it should be removed (with full compensation of course) because its little more than sanctioned trolling, the way its been implemented. TKing isn't the thing to do about it though :/

Not that I have noticed...

But what I have noticed is I get focus fired down by artillery at least 20% of the time.  I am in a heavy tank?  I get focused.  I am in a medium on a flank?  I get focused.  Granted, I don't get focused much in lights or TDs, but I play them less.

And my stats are HARDLY worthy of focus fire...

While British arty and leaflowers deserve to be TK'd, I don't observe this behavior particullary often, and never happened to me when playing arty.

The only time I TK'd an arty was when one got hit, got butthurt and blamed me for it, then attempted to shoot me, I ran behind him until eventually he shot me again at point blank, then I just finished him off.

It was a G.W. Tiger P.

Twice in the past three days, while playing Arty, I have been TK'd as soon as the offender finishes his first loading.

I also witnessed this being done to another Arty player in a game where I was in a medium tank.

In all three cases, the arty player (myself or the other player) did not speak in chat, did not block another player, did not in any way do anything to provoke attack.

All three times, our team lost close battles where the contribution that arty may have made could perhaps have swayed the result in our favor.

Is there some new movement to force wargaming to remove arty by TK'ing one arty per game, or something?

Fewer than 4% of my games are in artillery, so I am not at all an arty-lover or anything, but this seems odd and excessive behavior.

TKing arty is a method that immature people use to throw a tantrum.

I saw in 2 games someone saying at start to report arty for unsportsmanlike conduct, but haven't seen any TKs.

I take it there's a Charles Bronson of WOT out there going around blowing up clickers?

Same thing with me, E100 at battle start tk's  one arty and then comes after me. Had a couple guys try to help get him off me and got turned blue in the process. Tker's name was AnavelGato from Coree clan. Real lowlife. I have last battle record on so I filed a ticket and vide of the TK..... This is the response I got......................Lionel Delvalle

Dear ViseGrip,

Thank you for contacting World of Tanks support regarding this matter.

We have an automated system in place for violation tracking (i.e. team damage, team killing), as such all mentioned offenses will be addressed by the automation only.

Once a player has reached a threshold set by the automation for team kills/damage, they are banned; no questions asked. In addition, they are forced to pay a portion of the damage caused and forfeit some experience to their victim. We allow for some team damage to occur before that takes place, and we feel we're pretty generous with the amount allowed, but once it crosses over that line, the sanction is imposed. The first offense is a minor 1 hour ban, but habitual violations have an escalating punishment. Because of this, we highly advise that you do not take matters into your own hands as we will be unable to change any actions taken by the automated violation tracker.

We truly do appreciate your interest in World of Tanks and your contribution to our community. We can only hope that you understand that we must be fair and treat all friendly fire cases the same, regardless of the motives.

Additional information on the automated system of team killers and bot user tracking can be found on the following page:
http://forum.worldof...ll-auto-system/

If you have any other questions, be sure to check out our knowledge base!

Best Regards,

Lionel Delvalle

So even if you send in a video of the offense and file a ticket, WG will not do any thing to prevent them from doing it. Even tho they could.. This is one of the many reasons I have stopped all money going to them and refuse to buy their tanks, premium time or gold. WG can kiss my royal brown round.
