Those modern tanks. Do those tanks still carries logs with them either on the sides or at the back?

No, only the '9.20' logo is on the IS-7's LFP.

Yes, because a $5,000,000 M1A2 Abrams tank with depleted uranium ammo, composite armor, thermal sights on a fire control system with digital maps, and a turbine jet engine for an engine needs more timber.

Haven't seen one carry one, but they are used to help get your tracks back on so in any conflict crews will do whatever to help their situation and they'll probably do it and if that means carrying a useful log then they'll do it.

I believe most of the Russian tanks still do but not sure about all of them though.

logs were used to push the idler wheel, this is how you get a track back on

Track repair and getting out of muddy ground....the beginning of this video is a bit slow, but the live example at later is good.

I think the Arbor society and EPA put an end to it.

As i understand it... some modern tanks have built in hydraulic lifts and suspension levelers that kind of negate the need for logs.

Is that a real tank, a scale model, or 3D model?
