This is to wargaming--

To remove arty, simply allow a check box for matchmaking that says "play with arty" --- this way arty players can play with whomever wants to play with them, and war gaming doesn't need to refund anything to people who invested in these arty tanks.

obviously a refund scenario is the major holdback from ever changing arty, so this is why i made a realistic proposition.

I think anyone who owns an artillery piece should have to play against artillery all the time and those of us who don't own them anymore or never have owned them get preferential non artillery included matches ;). Although it will add yet another algorithm to the already taxed match maker on the NA server.

No remove damage from shots unless they are in TD mode, otherwise strictly stun effects. The tier 9 & 10 take quite a significant amount of damage on thinner skinned vehicles, especially if they happen to be 8s. Nothing promotes camping more than getting 423 (out of a hit pool of 1,300) shaved off your HP by arty when you actually go out to duke it out with an IS-7.

Moronic idea, they'd have to do it for every class. Who want's to play a paper tank on Ensk with 8 heavies on the other side?

If they did that arty would have to play with themselves.

well that would be the end of CB or digging out hull down heavies. Other tanks take 1/3 why is it wrong for arty? Don't fuss about indirect fire and then make a suggestion that would kill the ability to do CB

Arty players play with themselves most of the games they are in now.

OR, just remove arty from the game and instead of compensating the arty players do absolutely nothing.

That's why they have one hand free.

As if reimbursing XP and Creds would cost Wargaming anything?

Just make a Drop Down box:

No Arty

No Premiums

No Paris Map

No Bottom Tier

No Unicums

No Seal Clubber Platoons

No Gold rounds

No Whiners

I think this is a fantastic idea!
While we're at it, I would also like a box to check that allows me never to have a bottom tier battle.
Also, a box that would prevent invisible tanks from shooting at me would also be great.
Perhaps a box to prevent opponents from shooting gold ammo as well.

If you think these ideas sound stupid, now you realize how this suggestion sounds.

You want a realistic proposition?  How about play the game within the parameters which means SPGs are in the game.  If that is not to your liking, play Wot Blitz.

Better suggestion perma IP ban all the idiots constantly complaining about the ARTY because they like to sit in 1 spot and snipe instead of move around so the big bad arty can't touch them easily.
