Been playing WOT for years, had a good consistent ping for a couple years, then 6 or so months ago, it started getting a bit flaky, but still playable, with pings mostly under 50ms.

Now with the Central server, ping went to about 80, which would be OK if it wa stable, It is anything but. I am having tons of 999+ pings, complete loss of tank control without any change in ping, 999+ ping showing but playing OK....  When tank becomes unresponsive with 999+ ping, I run a ping test on my other monitor to random places like "Yahoo" or whatever, and they show fine, so it is not my internet.

I pay for Premium acct, and occasionally buy gold. If the ping & lag issues continue, I will be done with WOT....

Which sucks, because I really enjoy the game.

No kidding, yesterday my turret bounced left and right like it had Tourette's. That and all the broken promises are becoming, well to much. And I have been here since the start

I have been having that a lot as well. That is a good way to phrase it.

Washington State.

I am a "tecky" guy, I did reset, modem, router, etc. I even made QOS changes in my router to give me priority in the household. I have 65 Mbps, shouldn't be any issue either way.

I am hardwired with ethernet.

I live in St. Louis which puts me 300 miles from the server and have the same problems.

Have you tried hooking directly 2 your modem & or tried different Cat6 wire

I'm in Northern California just Ck my ping was 85 (better than I would get on East server @ 100)

I love the lag where your tank just pops up on the corner of 1 track, freezes, and then when it finally reconnects I am dead.... LOVE that.

Too bad that happens 3-4 times a day now with nasty little 500-600 spikes here and there.

On the central server thread, they said they haven't started working on fixing the server lag. Not to be confused with regular old internet lag.

I am less than 150 miles from the server and it shows a ping between 5 and 35, but lags bad at times. So bad that even when I am playing with a fast  tank I seems to be crawling along.

It comes and goes for me, always has, and I don't expect that it'll get better. WG can't fix it.

It's probably your ISP.  I'm on the west cost and get a ping of 60 when playing.

Wargaming stated that they fixed the rubber band lag.

I wonder why I still have lag every day I play???

PS. Just a bunch of hot air like always.

Thanks, but my problems are not related to my system, my network has been in place for 8 years. The problems I am having are shared by many people.

My big problems only started after the Central server, and they started the day after it went live.

I had a great 2 year run, with pings in the 30-50 ms range and never any problems...
