Sorry if i've missed something obvious, but i can't seem to find a guide, good FAQ, or informative writeup for starting or joining a clan.  For now i'm more interested in starting my own, but should i be?

1. What are the default/automatic perks to owning a clan?

2. Is there any upkeep cost?

3. Are there any activities open to clans with fewer than 5 members?

4. Is there any reason to own/join a clan with fewer than 5 members, other than the clan tag and emblem?

You can do Stronghold in a clan with 5 members, you will just need to bring in 'legionaries' to pad out your team.

Or you could get all the benefits without all the work , and just join a clan.

If you want platoons, Stronghold, Advances, and shenanigans, come over to E-T-D and talk to our guys...  Bring your mates.

We run all tiers and skirmish at 6, 8, and 10.  Do Advances and Clan Wars.  We hold property and earn gold.

Semi-serious clan, easy going group, many older guys.

Must have Teamspeak (you really need a com program anyhow if you're thinking of starting a clan) and be working toward a Tier 10 if you don't already have one.

We will coach and train if you have a lower PR.

Message me and I'll get you Teamspeak info.

Good Luck, in any case.  Have Fun.

besides spending gold to start it up, you will have to spend gold to upload your clan emblems.

sometimes there are clan bonuses you receive in game, as well as mentioned the strongholds. when you get building high enough you can also run bonuses off of them for your clan.

Running a clan can be hard work. Just remember you won't be able to keep every person happy. Also remember people will come and people will go.

I've been in a clan for almost a year, and they still confuse me more than anything else in this game.... actually, they're the only thing that confuses me in this game!
