Hey WG, can you make blacklisting client side, e.g. let us manage it on a file on our computers?

There's no reason you have to have it server managed. If I want to blacklist the entire WoT community that should be fine. Right now it's limited to 1K offenders. Just let us manage a simple file and add and subtract as we want. The current blacklist is tedious to manage. If I want to remove a butthead from my list due to inactivity I have to slog through each guys profile to see when they played last. It would be SO much easier if you just let us manage it ourselves. Simple file with names we can add and subtract singly  or in bulk.

Most of the time people doesn't get blacklisted for what they say, but what they do.

So when your computer dies, your blacklist goes with it, and everyone you'd put on that blacklist is off it again.  Plus, if you happen to go to different machines every so often, they have different blacklists.  And then you'll complain that your blacklist needs to be kept on the servers instead of your own machine.

I rarely blacklist people... As it'd make me a hypocrite. I tend to have a filter-lacking personality, and I tend to shoot teammates on a whim.

I agree. Make that stuff client side. I'd love to [edited]list every Mongolian-based clan out there.

TOTEM and ARAVT... I'm looking at you.

I bet the OP would even blacklist Kojak.

I agree with OP, having someone blacklisted is useful if you get one in your team again to be cautious for griefing. 1K limit is really small if you play a long time.

Is hillarious to see a game have a limit on blacklist... no game should have a limit of flagging jerks.

Some people back their computers up.  This is a good idea.

Granted, but how many actually do that?  You can bet that there would be complaints from those that did not.

I only have about 40 people blacklisted (and I blacklisted the entire leadership of a clan) and I'd say I rarely go 100 battles without seeing one

Some people don't look both ways before they cross the street.  I can't and won't do anything about that either.  If I recall correctly the friends list was "lost" a couple years ago anyway.  I would have had that original list still at there been a way to back that list up.

1K limit?  I didn't know about that.

If someone spams the mini-map with clicks I blacklist them so that could fill up really fast.
