I just did 4,425 damge with my ISU-152 in a game and won the match. The Jagtiger on the other team did 4,364 damage. He was awarded the High Cal medal. I had no team damage at all. Why did this happen?

Your team had less HP overall, so he didn't need to do more damage than you to get at least 20%+ damage done to your entire team.

That sounds most likely.  If his team had more HP, than you may have just been under the 20% threshold.  Yay weird edge cases.

OP most likely your HP didn't equate to 20 percent or more.  You have to have at least 20 percent of the total HP pool of the enemy.  I've had it happen a few times myself as have others.

Have an empathetic consolatory plus one.

I could be wrong here, but I think even a ricochet/track shot disqualifies you... wasn't the wording changed a while back to say "hitting a friendly", as opposed to "damaging"?

Edit: Yeah, it specifically says "For receiving this award, allies should not be hit with direct shots."

I didn't say -you- did, I expanded upon the statement that I had quoted.

He mentioned team damage, and I clarified that it didn't actually need to be "damage" , just a hit.

Even a ricochet off of an enemy tank that hits an ally will disqualify you. Or if you bumped someone at the beginning of the match and caused track damage, if the system decided it was your fault, d/q.
