Hi, today I am ban for 7 days by WG. They explain with this: “3.2 (b) interfere with or circumvent any feature of the Software or the Service, including without limitation any security, or access control mechanism, or use any automated scripts, tools, “bots” or otherwise exploit the system for the purpose of altering the game play …. “

But I just have the quickybaby modpack... So does it become an illegal modpack? If no, how can I say to WG they do a mistake?

Thank you.

It was awhile ago but, I have read that some mods are OK on the EU server but not on the NA server.  I also know of a player WG banned for using a mod from Alsian ModPack.  Can not remember which mod.  You need to send in a ticket and ask which Mod and for an overturn.  You most likely will not receive one but you should try and find out which one so you do not use it again.

Its pretty plain from the message you received that you have illegal mods installed remove them because the next ban is a permanent one

@Riff the rules are universal now across the RU/EU/SEA and NA servers and Aslains I have been told has some mods which are possibly illegal but I believe there is a warning that you could get banned for using those particular mods

Stop using aim bots I’m guessing.

Go back and re-check each mod in your pack, it might have something that is illegal to use.

if you have nothing but current QB pack loaded, then review the support forum for how to scan and clean other possible software that may be detected.

this includes keyboard automation software thats commonly used to cheat in many games, or key repeaters or automated mouse software, etc. anything that can be used to cheat, regardless if you have installed it for WoT or not. and regardless if you have already moved it, look into how to purge remnants from the registry.

Ok thanks, but the problem stay the same. If I have nothing really illegal, play without mod from now, I will be reban for nothing... And they give me option "for clean my wot", but i don't trust wg anymore, can't find a cheater or a bot... I will not run their [edited].

Spoiler

Post a list here of all the mods you are using if you have anything illegal in NA we can point it out and you can remove it.

I like you also don't think Quickybaby uses any illegal mods but you may want to switch to Aslain Modpack. He has more mods on his pack and he double checks mods for legability of use across servers.

Edit: Grammar

This is almost as funny as when johnmadara from Youjo made that long winded thread claiming he did nothing wrong after being perma banned from the game which led to him getting a perma ban from the forums.

If you get banned don't come to the forums expecting a pity party...simple fact.

Don't come on here looking for support then not taking the advice. If it was truly a mistake take the hit, ask WG if they can tell you what they saw that was questionable, adjust the mods you are using.

And if you just want to whine and you can't "trust WG anymore", then Good Bye.

Thanks but sorry i don't know how to do that. Me and the mod is simple, just download the last modpack and place it in each folder. I will take your advice and try aslain modpack, just for switching crew and equipment. But it's the last time i spend money in this game, they call me a bot or a cheater without proof... and they can't catch real bot in the game (i met 1 by 5 game at least...)

Welp, another reason to run vanilla, I suppose.  If you have remnants of previous mods, legal or no, they can still trigger/cause issues.  Try completely nuking all mods and DOUBLE CHECK all the contents of the mods you're using.

Sorry but i'm very newby about mod. When you talk about nuking all mod, you talk about mod folder and res_mod folder? Or there is other place where the "illegal mod" can be?

I forget, but back when I ran mods, there were files in different locations that wouldn't go away with a cleaning of the res mods folder.  It's been more than 2 years since I've been a vanilla players, so I dunno if things have changed or not.
