stop using mods and you won't get the ban hammer

Alternatively.

WG could stop being deliberately ambiguous.

Yes... I don't like the idea to replace my crew and equipment each time, but i think you are all right, I should play vanilla... Since I don't trust wg for cleaning my wot, i should reinstall wot. I have 7 days aniway without play so it's okay about that. Thanks to all ppl who didn't call me a cheater without proof, like the 5-6 first reply... And thanks for the anwser, even if i don't want to commit into that.

I don't think there is more to say about that. bye.

I've played vanilla for close to 4 years now and while you will still rage at players at least you don't have xvm making every match look like a halloween themed event.

Hi, today I am ban for 7 days by WG. They explain with this: “3.2 (b) interfere with or circumvent any feature of the Software or the Service, including without limitation any security, or access control mechanism, or use any automated scripts, tools, “bots” or otherwise exploit the system for the purpose of altering the game play …. “

But I just have the quickybaby modpack... So does it become an illegal modpack? If no, how can I say to WG they do a mistake?

Thank you.

QB cheats (not to be mistaken as "hacks".). There I said it.

Vanilla is really the best route to avoid this sort of thing. WGs fair play policy is pretty vague which leaves them open to interpreting what is legal/not legal as they see fit.

But OP only has himself to blame. He relied on some ones mod pack being legal without really understanding what all was in the mod pack.

I believe this is a pretty common practice, based on all the post we see where people don't understand they have a gold lock (for example). If you don't know what all you are downloading, how can you confidently claim you're not running an illegal mod?

Where you using any mods that do any of these things and are considered illegal? You would know if you were using any of these from playing the game and that was what was in the modpack you installed:

  • Mods that reveal the positions of enemies in a way not included in the vanilla client, by: marking objects destroyed on the map and minimap in real-time, altering the display of shell flight trails or calculating the position of enemy SPGs with tracers and marking them, and keeping spotted vehicles displayed on screen, even when you aren’t aiming at them
  • Software that makes it easier to block an enemy’s shell by indicating the exact spot at which they are aiming (for example, with a laser beam).
  • Modifications that alert you when spotted vehicles are reloading or that show enemy vehicles’ reload timers
  • Auto-aim mods or so-called “aimbots” that provide more functionality than the "aim lock" in the vanilla client, specifically including those that aim at the enemy's weak spots and/or lead the target automatically so that a cheater can focus entirely on manoeuvring their tank
  • Software that enables the automatic use of non-Premium consumables
  • Mods that aid in finding enemies by letting you adjust the transparency of objects on the map
  • Software that leaves “ghosts” of enemy vehicles on the battlefield, indicating where they were last detected
  • Mods that actually alter the physical properties, performance characteristics, or effects of any vehicle or object in the game, or subvert the game rules

Ok thanks, but the problem stay the same. If I have nothing really illegal, play without mod from now, I will be reban for nothing... And they give me option "for clean my wot", but i don't trust wg anymore, can't find a cheater or a bot... I will not run their [edited].

Um, your post says they found at least one cheater.

Yes "they found something wrong", but they can't say me what is it. They just say hmmm maybe it's a script, maybe you are using a bot. Nothing of this is in the QB modpack. But like ppl upper say , better use vanilla, since wg can't find a cheater and accuse innocent, better don't count on them for do something right.

Most people are assuming you're lying about not knowing what you were banned.  The reason they're doing so is because over 9 times out of 10, the person does know why they were banned, and it's only pretending not to know in an attempt to get unbanned.

The big issue here is WGing refusing to tell a person what exactly they banned them for. They've stated they will not tell you what was illegal just that they found something  illegal, totaly BS imo.

Also he say's he just running QB's mod pack, let's assume that's also true,. Then the fact that one of their most widely known CC is posting mod packs that can get you banned is another big problem. I know everyone says "Run Vanilla" but WG allows mods, even had a contest that provided one of the most controversial mods (whatever that Arty mod is) so you'd believe (wrongly in this case) that running a mod pack from one their top CC's would be safe.

However who's to say for sure that the OP only ever ran QB's pack?

They need to eliminate mods or make them available only through their portal which would mean they approved it.
