It will definitely be after Dec. 8 because the Death Star is on track through that first week of December.

More than enough time :playing:

Count me Out on this one too....      Not enough Time, Credits, Gold, and what not to get it done....

Oh well, I ain't going anywhere so we'll see what the Next one Brings....      I already have the T-10, it's the only one so far that hasn't been a 1 to 10 Grind...     lol

Man, I know I'm weird but I didn't think I was this weird. I loved the AT2,8 and 7 and really, really, really hated the 15. Now I've been grinding the Tort forever. I know it has the "best gun in game" (arguable) but I can make it work and have a fun game 1 in 4 maybe. Just waiting for the on track (11/24-12/8) to free exp to the top.

The Tortoise plays a lot like the AT-15, so it makes sense that if you didn't like the latter you wouldn't like the Tort either. The AT-15 actually has better armor tier for tier, you need to use both the gun depression and traverse to really generate many bounces off the front with both of them though. The higher pen guns the Tort faces makes the armor a little less dependable.

They are either going to remove the T-10 or switch it to a new tank line.  So you had better unlock the IS-7 now before they mess up your tank line.

I started this grind at the AT8 a few weeks ago, got a mark on the AT7,  and am currently working up the AT15. I have played all three as rapid-fire assault guns using binocs, vents, and rammer, and it's really fun when reds underestimate how fast I reload. I've roadblocked entire pushes by myself just by sheer rate of fire, playing peekaboom with a whole gang of reds at a time and pinging all of them.

One positive aspect of this line for me is that I tend to be a very aggressive player; I firmly believe that if you're sitting still without an enemy in your sights, you're doing something wrong. As Rommel said, "In the absence of specific orders, find the enemy and kill them." This line forces me to slow down instead of charging around after the enemy so much, and I think that's a good thing.

My main complaint about this line is the inconsistency of the armor. Nominally the armor on all these units (at least up to the Tortoise) is very thick, but I feel like there's way too much RNG on it and I'm not getting as many bounces as I should. My gun isn't that great against Tier 8+ heavies and assault gun TD's, but they seem to be able to pen me almost at will despite my supposed armor, and that's frustrating.

The problem is there's huge swathes of the armour thats under or just barely at 200mm, the entire upper part of the tank above the mantlet is made of swiss cheese and even a cromwell can pen it, and the mantlet has a massive hole making that part only 150mm or so thick. they're fixing some of this the same patch they're pulling the deathstar.
