I ran pingplotter and a tracert route just for good measure over the course of 15 minutes. It's not actually Wargaming's server. It's the 2 or 3 hops before your packets get delivered to their server, which I was getting 6-7% packet loss. And yes, I did all of their network fixes, opened up the ports WoT uses, did a DNS flush, reset my router, etc. So it is on either their end or their provider's end.

Edit: Forgot to put this, but I played a couple games late last night around 1-2am EST, and there was zero packet loss and my ping was completely stable around 30-40ms.

yeah, its the telia chi node I'm sure, the one after new york, telia is literally the worst provider they could have picked to route their *** to their servers, just type in telia into the forum search and you will see how bad they are

The game is in real terms....unplayable. Unless your goal is to simply be blown up, lose, and let your team down. Constant and repetitive lag spikes lasting 7 seconds or more. I am seeing team members simply dropping out from disconnects during a battle. Framerate appears fine....but the lag is intolerable. Ping is going on wild swings up and down.

I am on the Northeast coastal area in NJ. Utter and complete cr*p play. I have a FIOS 75/75 connection. No problems with my bandwidth or response times on anything else. WG...your carrier sold you a bill of goods that don't amount to jack sh*t.

Whatever honeymoon level of service they showed you when you consolidated the servers I will bet is being cut back and they are not telling you. Or they are outright lying to you. Repeatedly asking everyone to provide trace info this far along simply is not doing the job. Someone needs to get on the phone and (rude as it may be) start yelling at them. Inform them you are being flooded with complaints. Your customer base is abandoning even attempting to play. Threaten legal action. I hate to say it but at this point you need to get (and hold!!) their attention.

I have over 25 years in varying aspects of IT. Trust me when I tell you I know how THAT game is played.

When the merge first happened I saw a vast improvement in my packet loss problems. They came back for me last night and had to call it after only 2 games. Hopefully tonight will be better.

Going to run ping plotters to see if Telia.net is being a SoB again. They were my problem before merge..

Terrible lag.  Game is unplayable.

I request a hold on my premium account until the server is stabilized.  May create a ticket (Won't hold my breath)

I suggest people having issues put a ticket in to WG & of course you will need to jump through all the hoops. The thing is they won't do anything about it until enough people file tickets.

In the mean time you can always use WTfast (gaming VPN) which re-routes your path to the server, you get a free 14 day trial. A friend of mine tried it out tonight with success & it

by-passed the bad hop from NY to Chicago.

If NY has the bad hub, that would explain things.  At least on my end anyway.

I just submitted a ticket with pingploter and the other test they require.

Yes Gouldy is right, perhaps a good VPN that reduces the ping would surely help... I had similar issues while playing Dota on international servers ....
here hope this guide helps,

How Gaming VPN helps

i'd love to hear more on bad hop issue!
