Hi all,

I just completed my guide to the T67, which I consider the best tank (along with the M8A1 at Tier 4) to train on as a new player in World of Tanks. It's also a true keeper tank, as one of the best tanks at tier.

In this guide I include its strengths and weaknesses, why it makes such a good training tank, how to play it, what equipment, skills and perks to carry, and a video by QuickyBaby that really illustrates its power both for new players and for experienced players who just want to club seals ... ahem ... I mean, have fun at Tier 5.

You can see the article BY CLICKING HERE, or you can read Finnegan's Guide for New Players HERE.

There is no "T-67" in WoT.  There is a "T67" though.  I assume your guide is about the T67, yes ??

I just believe that if you are going to do a "Guide" for something, using correct nomenclature is a good idea.

For example, the difference between a T-34 and a T34 in this game is considerable.

Also, my reason for living is not for you to say.

Correct is good. I'll do the edit, and get rid of the filthy communist hyphen. When I get back from walking my dog.

BTW, I laughed when I saw you use this word because its not even used in this type of context idiot.

The T67 is a VERY good tank - and almost certainly OP when you understand the spotting system in the game against mid-tier opponents. Knowledge of quite important for every player.

The problem is that it can lead to a very campy red-line play style. In many ways, the tank encourages this (with the possible exception of accuracy). Yes, the T67 can do quite a bit more with its mobility. But it can also encourage damage farming instead of actually fighting.

Of course, recognizing when to do what exactly is something many of us struggle with.

It is true, a lot of people play it as a camping TD, but what I like about the T67 when played properly is that it can flex and fight on many levels. You can use it as a forward spotting light. You can step in and take the role of a medium if need be. You can rush and take out the enemy arty. The reason I recommend it for people learning the game is that it is very flexible, it has the speed to cover the entire map, and you can try out different playstyles. Even the slow shell velocity is a plus for training purposes; you have to learn to lead your target with this gun, unlike say a Matilda that essentially fires a laser at its target!

Not sure about your background but in my time in the military that is exactly the context in which that word was used, but I don't think saying T-67 left anyone confused :)

That's a great location. Got some of my highest spotting damage from there.

I see why you would think "nomenclature" is somehow special, but I use words that make my writings succinct as a normal activity.

no·men·cla·ture
ˈnōmənˌklāCHər/
noun

  1. the devising or choosing of names for things
    • the body or system of names in a particular field.
    • formal
the term or terms applied to someone or something.

wang, pretty sure you misread this one... i agree theres nothing wrong with t67 or t-67 or whetever you want to call the tank, georgepetty is the one who was mkaing fun of his spelling mistake... In return was laughing at mr.petty because the use of the word "nomenclature" outside of scientific discussions, is just plain silly..... Mr.petty is a great example of someone trying really hard to sound smart, when they probably are not. Red flag for these people is the constant correcting of silly spelling mistakes.

What's even funnier is that I was the Grade 7 Spelling Bee Champion at my school ... and among other things, I was a journalist and editor for 25 years, and still edit a magazine.

So, George, my bad. You caught me. I will try to 'utilize correct nomenclature in future'.

Fantastic guide, exceptionally informative video, and great advice. Looking forward to training in those two TDs.

Don't bother with a T67 guide. If you need a guide to play the T67 well, then yikes

If there is only 1 tank with the designated letters/numbers T and 67, then I assume you knew which tank he was referring to, like pretty much everyone else, right? He had apparently retroactively changed it to T67(assuming it was typed as T-67 before I read the thread). But it wouldve been crystal clear either way. Oh yeah, and I'm sure everyone is grateful for your insight into this topic that you took the time to add after your comment about the improper "-" in between the T and 67. Oh wait, I dont see that helpful advice anymore....... Someone must have deleted it! LOL

Walk by Preddy's house and let it poop in his yard.

The T67 is fun, but I feel guilty playing it. Not like I'm great at it, with only one mark, but its easy mode most times. Until that derp gun zeros in on you.
