This occurred to me when I won my first female crew member through personal missions, and I think it would be viable and a money-maker for WG.

A "premium" crew member would be exactly like the female crew members in that you can assign them to whatever tank/type you'd like and they come trained for that assigned tank at 100% with your choice of first skill at 100% as well.

Sell it for like $10-$15 per crew member and you make them within reach by most who would spend the money.

I dunno. Just an idea I had floating in my head.

Peace.

"Zero Skill BIA" crews exist, and you can retrain crews with gold... so...

Just pimp out a crew member by converting experience with gold.

yeah but you can't just buy the crew, you have to buy a tank that comes with it. What he wants is a crew you can pick the nation of and that isn't tied down to a nation or tank you don't even play.

I was thinking about making a suggestion for this as well.  O-Skill BIA is a significant advantage and I'd pay for that special perk for my new tanks and tanks that I use in competitions.  Being able to select the Nation would be huge.  Have a couple Chinese tanks that I'd like to stick those crews in.  I'd pay even more if I could CONVERT my crew members that already have skills to O-Skill BIA, i.e. keep the same 4 skills and add the BIA so they become 5 skill crews.  A boy and his dream...

+1 on the suggestion Augustus!

Their main competitor is selling bushes on tank.

That is the true definition of pay 2 win.

I vote NO.

Sure some aspects of the game are... for instance, premium time makes it easier to liberally distribute your premium ammunition around the field. That being said, the game is rather well balanced and reliant on skill. A greater number of P2W aspects will, over time, have a tendency to shift the balance of things towards P2W.

I see your point and agree, as that was the same thing I was thinking in opposition.

Just thoughts for a forum.

Or just add an option to give existing crewmen 'zero-skill BIA' for some appropriate price. Maybe not in gold, perhaps instead a huge number of credits or even the new bond currency.

As far as I know, "pay to win" is frowned upon in most games but at the same time - "pay for an advantage" has always been a thing.  Premium time and premium tanks give you an advantage - credits, premium rounds, faster crew training, cheaper repairs, etc.  If they give you too much of an advantage, then it becomes pay-to-win.

Wargaming already sells tanks with the 0-Skill BIA and if you buy more than 1, then you can move those extra crews to other tanks.  This gives certain LINES an advantage (USA, British, RU, German - and now even the Polish-eventual-line) but I would like to put some of my Chinese tanks on the same equal footing with those tanks.  And since all we're really talking is one extra skill, I don't think it's too out of line to have it available.

My 2 cents. You're free to not cash them ;)
