Hi all,

I have a new rig purchased recently i have a gtx 1070 8gb and a I7 7700 quad core with 8gb of ram. The game runs and plays at 60fps with vsync on but when i get into contact with other players it drops and locks at 38 fps. Anybody else get this?

Nope, I don't understand Intel, I use AMD and do not have those issues.  Sorry, wish I could be helpful here but I can't, really.  But if you are running a full on 4 G machine and only 8 G's of ram, that may be your issue and you may need to double it.

I use a 1060 and I7 3770k and this doesn't happen with me.  I see it more with certain spots on the map and only on certain maps.

Make sure it's not related to a spot on the map first.

Glad you could post anything remotely useful for the OP, your AMD fanboy bs is useless. The ram has nothing to do with this, quite honestly I played with 8 gigs and no issues.

4 gigs is plenty.I would try different drivers for the vid card.

On the common test and live server I get around 100-120fps.

On the sandbox I get from 50-100fps.

I think it has to do with the tessellation and enhanced destruction physics, since I use same settings across all servers.

I use a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti with latest driver update 387.92 released on 10/08/2017.
