it seems to me that if light tanks, with better than normal camo, compared to non lights, with new high damage canons will become the new arty, they have the potential to control a battle field.

depends on map

 

on prok or malinovka.  yeah.    

 

but on majority of maps, tunnel maps.  so camo is.....not much use.     and their firepower will (and should) always be weaker than mediums (though are they to weak right now is still the question to ask)

Have you actually tried playing a tier 10 light in a tier 10 game? You are outspotted and outgunned by tier 10 meds. It's not often fun.

I don't like better guns.  it muddies the roles.  lights should be better at spotting and worse at shooting.

Is the op wishing for better guns on lights or is this something coming up? The gun nerfs went a bit too far on the lights especially as view range and camo are only slightly better and in some cases worse than certain nations mediums.
